P.S. To win a copy of Stamp It! Cards, as well as my stamped butterfly card (seen below), please leave a comment telling me why you love stamping so much.

Even I have been bitten by the stamping bug! Here's a card I created for my monthly card group. I ended up tracing the stamped butterfly image with a glitter pen to give the wings a little extra shimmer.

I would LOVE to win Teri’s beautiful card set!!!
Guess I am the old timer here. Been stamping at least 25 years. I guess it would be an understatement to say I LOVE it!!!!!!! I never seem to get tire of creating and usually put in a couple of hours every evening. It is such a relaxing change from the 9 to 5 work schedule. Right now I make about 400 cards a year. I love the look on a person’s face when they know that card has been made especially for them. Heaven forbid if my friends and family get a store card. How stamping creations have evolved over the past years. We are now much more dimensional and there is always a touch of bling. This is certainly one hobby that has lasted and lasted. I would also like to say that I love how everyone is so willing to share ideas and techniques. Thanks All
Neat idea of using a glitter pen to outline the butterfly! Thanks for the inspiration! =)
For me, when I got my first ever stamp set (it was the flourish stamp set by Rhonna Farrer for Autumn Leaves), I was hooked. It was like having a bit of magic and a teeny-tiny printing press in my hands. I love that stamps have never lost their magic on me. I still feel a little like a kid during Christmas every single time I stamp something.
Wow, would love to get a free magazine and that awesome card! =)
*hugs*

I love to stamp because it allows me to be creative. Seventeen years ago I developed repetitive strain syndrome. Five hand surgeries later, i still had pain, tingling, and numbness in both hands. I no longer could do most of the arts and crafts that I’d done all my life.
But I found I could still stamp without a lot of pain, and the more I did it, the more I loved it. I still have a creative outlet, and it is one that changes and grows with me.
I stamp to enhance my scrapbooking pages. I love to scrapbooking and the possibilities are endless when it comes to creativity – stamping adds to that and makes it fun!
