I fancy myself to be quite the bargain hunter. I’m always on the lookout for a great deal and I love repurposing objects as a way to maximize their usability. This is precisely why I love the Stamp It! 3 Ways section of Stamp It! Cards. This section shows how to create three totally different cards using the same stamp set. Honestly, can it get any better than that?!
Actually, it can. I’m going to give two lucky winners ALL the stamp sets from Stamp It! 3 Ways! That’s right. Leave a comment telling me how you’ve managed to use one stamp in a variety of ways and you’ll be entered to win all of the following stamps:

P.S. Congrats to Kelly Jean! She won Susan’s Green Hi Card, Rusty Pickle’s Lucky collection and a copy of Stamp It! Cards from Tuesday’s I’m Kind of Green at This Stamping Thing post. Thanks to all who left comments and played along!

This is one that is quick to describe: an Outlines “Design Leaf” that has been used for it’s purpose (a leaf for a flower); a beautiful, small Christmas tree; and a multi-petaled large flower. All of these were multiple creations. E.g. the Christmas tree was one element of a Christmas card sent to 125 of my relatives, friends, and neighbors. I do try to get ‘mileage’ from all my stamps! The Blog Candy for this effort is out of this world. I have my fingers crossed that I might win.
Great stamps! Love to use stamps as focal point & patterned card backgrounds.
I maximize the use of a stamp by thinking out of the box. Let’s say I have a heart stamp, instead of just using it as a heart, you can create other images with it like flowers, butterflies, etc.
Great give-away! Depending on the image, I might be able to stamp it with only one color; stamp it with black and color it; cut parts of it out and using dimensionals, make it pop-up; or use it as a background image… TFS!
What a great selection of stamps! Love em all. I used the top half of an open petal Stampin’ Up flower stamp that had a big circle center as the sun with rays going out into the sky. Also, if I don’t want to color an intricate stamp, I emboss it with a colored embossing powder and use it that way or fill it in with the embossing making it easier to color.
Thanks for your site and giveaway.
I love to stamp things all the time. I stamp cards, I LOVE to make gifts for teachers, coworkers, friends and family. I will use stamps to stamp on candles, on cards, and any other gift items I can think of.
I love Papertrey’s Limitless Labels set. I use it to make nugget labels, as well as focal points for sentiments on cards.
I like to use stamps to background stamp as well as stamp to make cards and for scrapbooking pages.
I love to use my stamps to make tags…any kind of tag, bookmarks, etc. Then I use those to embellish cards or books…and I always remember to use the stamp I am using to do the envelopes! so easy, so classy! Lots of good tips in the posts ty to all! luv your blog…luv this give away for sure (new addiction to birds lol) so count me in please. Cher
and I have to tell u…all of the pics of you and the gang are awesome! keep up the good work…I enjoy your blog alot. Cher
Some ways that I have used my stamps are for paper piecing, 3-D pop-up effect, custom background papers, and jewelry making (as in shrink plastic art).
My favorite one stamp is a dot a little smaller than a dime. I used to make background papers; layered to add textured fish scales in tones of silver, blue, purple and green; berries on a vine, the center of a flower, and wheels on a car…gosh, that dot is probably the most used stamp in my collection! I use it soooooo many ways!!
wow, amazing stamps. Thanks!!!
Amaizng stamps you have there!
I love stamps and i use them in cards, also for create pattern paper and i like to use them on album layers, I just stamp on colorful pattern paper, cut around and it adds so much life and action for the layer!
Thanks for the giveaway!

I’ve used a stamp to make backgrounds, or the main image and I recently learned how to do “thumping”. What a fun technique that adds a whole new look to the same ‘ol stamp!
Thanks for the chance to win such great blog candy!
love selectively coloring my stamps with markers, so I can use just a portion of the image. Thanks for the cahnce to win.
That was one of my favorite features in the magazine! I love seeing how different each of the cards looked, yet they all used the same stamp supplies! I’ve used some some of the gigantic Unity stamps for scrapbooking layouts and then inked just part of the image for use on cards. A stamp that does double-duty, that’s a bargain!
The new Damask Designs is quickly becoming one of my favorite sets. I have used the images to create my own patterened DP as well as, using the images as the Main Focal image and backgrounds for laying under sentiments. Thaks to Dawn McVay for creating such a versatile set
I like to stampe on photos and cards.
I haven’t tried to stamp on fabric yet.
I’ll sure try that soon…
Beautiful stamp sets!!! I’m pretty new in the paper art area, I haven’t used stamps too much yet… But I have some nice ideas from some of the comments I have read here, and I’m sure going to try some of them! Thank you
I use stamps for everything – for backgrounds, for love notes for by boyfriend, and others.
I also like to take a stamp and restamp a few times, than cut different parts of it and set it an a different order.
I have a small stamp that I use a lot!!- alone or to make a background, and I love it!
I’m in love with the stamps at Papertrey Ink. There are several sets that are great on their own or perfect for adding little touches while letting another image shine: Out on a Limb, Polka Dot Basics, Guidelines 1 & 2, the list goes on and on.
I love love love using clear stamps for several reasons:
1) I like to use the back of clear stamps as a type of shadow against the crisp stamped image.
2) I can make backgrounds perfectly!! (i dont have to guess where its going to land)
3) Ive used the same stamp for a birthday, anniversary, AND congratulations card (it was a pretty but simple tree)
4) Changing the colors changes the feel dramatically so I like to play around with different color combos as well.
There are so many things I do with stamps I could write an entire book here, but Im sure so many of them have been mentioned above. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Wow! Those are fabulous stamp sets. So many things to create! Thanks for a chance to win!
I mainly use stamps for cards but I use a lot of journaling stamps on my layouts. I use them to record dates, times, etc… I also use flower stamps as I love flowers!
WOW! Thanks for the chance for the great give aways. I love stamping and making cards, plus sending them all to my family and friends. I have been a long time fan of Stamp IT! Love it!
I love to make card sets to give to friends and family. I like to pick either the main image or a coordinating design and stamp either a necklace or earrings to include in the box of cards. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback on them. The best part is I do it “just because” – meaning I’ll mail them out for no special reason other than to remind them they are loved. Lots of fun for me. Oh, for the guys I make keyrings or ink pens.
what a nice giveaway
Wow, so many good things there! Thanks for the chance!
I really enjoy paper piecing and using stamps both for focal images and backgrounds. I must say I have been inspired by reading the comments from others – I would like to try a method I have not heard of before – stamping a background stamp on a solid stamp – I can’t wait to try this!!
wow wow wow
what a giveaway!
Maybe i will win for a change?
thanks so much!
Alona
I have an alphabet stampset that has an asterisk in it. I use it for an asterisk and pull it out when I need cute little flowers. I just recently used it to make an entire flower garden on the bottom half of a card, and it turned out pretty cute, I think.
What a great week this has been!
Hi Brandy,
I try to use my stamps in more than one way. I can use a stamp as a backgound, as the main image, as a border, or as an embelishment on another card. I also like to layer images. My favorite stamps are open flowers that can be stamped in different colors. Thanks for letting me enter.
What a beautiful blog I will try to equal the lottery win publishes my blog
Thanks again!
I love stamps! I use them in any way I can. I love making patterned paper, I love making cards in all kinds of stamping technique. I just can’t have enough stamps!!!
So I’m going to be totally honest.. I have always had a hard time using my stamps multiple ways and when I picked up my Stamp it! magazine I was so excited to see how you guys worked and re-worked the stamp sets that you had. Plus you have had me hunting down the gel-a-tins set at all my LSBS and no one has it…so winning it would be great! *Hint* *Hint* Thanks for the great tips and I hope to see it more..cause every little bit of new and reusing info helps!

I love to use my stamps in different ways; then I don’t get bored with what I have! I have a flourishes set called Irony by Technique Tuesday that I can use as the main image or as background patterned paper. I even once used it on a little paper dress that I made to give the dress just a little “Something”.
What an amazing prize package!! I love to use stamps. I guess the main thing I do is create main images and background images with one stamps but I alos love to use stamps to create gifts, I’m not just a card stamper! I love to stamp on candles, mirors, picture frames, etc. then you can create a matching card to your gift.
What an awesome giveaway!!!
I am fairly new to stamping and papercrafting, so while I have been using hem to make cards and goodie bags for the kids class parties, etc, I have just recently started using them on the insides of cards and on the envelopes!!! What a great touch- Ilove it!!
Great Giveaway! …I like to use my stamps to make borders and for background designs.
What a great give-away!
I use my stamps to create Christmas ornaments, greeting cards, gift enclosure cards, gift card holders, and photo frames.
Thanks!
What an awesome give-away! Thank you for all that you do!
my fave quote – spring is the fulfillment of winter’s promise.
Wow. What a great giveaway! I use my stamps in a variety of ways and try to integrate the sets on cards, scrapbook pages, altered items, etc. Sometimes a bare tree with branches can also be used as a swirled background, or I will use only part of an image, mask off the rest and it looks totally different than if I had used the whole thing.
I love to stamp and I love all paper crafts. It would be so fabulous to win such a terrific prize….sign me up.

I like to stamp with acrylic paint. I love the texture and color! I also love that it gives some stamps a whole new look!!
What a lucky girl I would be to win such a great set of stamps. It seems that when you use a stamp one way the juices start flowing and I get another idea of how to use that stamp on another project another way. I think the more you use them the more inspired you can become. I like to always be thinking of new ideas. How fun that makes it.
Hi, forgot if I posted here yet! I can use a stamp so many ways! I always do the envelope, to match the card. I try to use a stamp in my project and then use it on the card and envelope when I give it away….Im a follower.
oh, I almost missed this one! well, I’m in
