How do I celebrate World Card Making Day….frankly, it’s just another day. Or, it has been until this year. You see, I’ve rekindled my passion for stamping and Lord willing I’ll be celebrating with an all day event at my home. In fact, now that you mention it, I think I’ll plan a big broo ha ha! I’ve been toying around with having friends over with a big contest and such. That would be the perfect time for the event! Yeah! And I think I’ll include a big prize. Like maybe a die cut machine of some sort. Hmmm…gotta run. Lots of planning to do for the party! =)

My daughters (ages 11 & 12) and I actually logged in on a load of websites to see all the activities/downloads/blogs — so much inspiration that we lifted some ideas and got a headstart on Christmas cards for 2008. We’re looking forward to the next WCM Day

  33. World Card Making Day is a great excuse for me to get together with my wonderful mom and make cards together! We’re both crafty, but have different craft interests. Cardmaking is the one that we have in common, so it’s a great excuse to get together! Thanks for the logo-I’ve added it to my blog!

This will be the first time I have celebrated World Card Making Day. My friends and I get together every 6 weeks or so to create cards together. I am about to create some “Save the Date” cards for them so that we can spend October 3 creating some of our holiday cards. I have already stocked up on supplies, got them last year after the holidays cheap, cheap, cheap.
Am also hoping to organize some kind of event for the store that I work at…looking for more information on that one.
Thanks for all of the inspiration. Carol

This is a great “day” in my book. I made all of my Christmas cards last year and some others as well. While I didn’t post any, it was gratifying to me!
