Top 10, are you ready for the next theme? Round 3’s theme is… buttons! Whether you create borders, layer them or fashion beautiful button flowers, we want to see your creative and unique uses for BUTTONS! The deadline for submissions is next Monday, July 20 at 9 a.m. (MST). All “Button” cards must be posted to our gallery by this time. Voting for Round 3 will begin at noon!

  1. I use buttons on both my cards and scrap pages. I like to use them for the center of flowers and sometimes I use them on the center of my bows too.

    Congratulations to the top 10! Your cards are all stunning! My favorite use for buttons is as a flower center on a layout or as a much needed page embellishment for that little extra.

    I love to use buttons on my cards, I usually tie them to the ribbon. My next project is to incorporate them with fabric on my cards. Thanks for the opportunity to win some more for my stash!

    I use buttons quite a lot for flower centers, but I also like them for attaching bits of ribbon. I even used one to simulate the sun in a funky little card scene recently.

    I love using buttons on my cards! Lately, I have been adding even more texture to my cards by making fabric yo-yo’s and putting a button in the center!

    oooo, I soooo {heart} buttons!!!! I love to use them with ribbon-I love to tie a ribbon bow, add a button with twine and then tie another bow! It’s one of my trademarks, LOL-ribbon-button combos!

    Congrats Ladies…awesome job and inspiring! My favorite way to use buttons is as flower centers and use cord to tie a ribbon. Of course lately I find myself using buttons on everything!

  22. I especially LOVE clear buttons because you can really tailor them to your project! But all buttons are awesome because of their versatility. I remember as a kid going to the big box craft store and they had this gigantic bag of buttons – I HAD to have them. Even though I only have a few of those particular buttons left, my button collection hasn’t dwindled. LOL!

    I just love looking at buttons, especially the great colors of PTI buttons! Lately I’m really liking them tied to the center of ribbon knots or bows and with the new Everyday Button Bits stamps from PTI.

    I love buttons! I recently taught myself to crochet flowers and have been really having fun searching for the perfect button for their centers. My stash includes many one-of-a-kind vintage buttons from my grandmother and I use those particularly on my ‘Very Special’ cards.
    I firmly believe one can never have enough buttons!

    Oh my!! Look at all of those yummy buttons!! I love tying a bow from ribbon and then putting a cute little button on top of the knot. It just adds the perfect little detail sometimes!!

    Buttons……besides scrapbooking…….I dump all my buttons together and have my granddaughter sort all the colors and put in containers. She loves it and I love the time to scrap with her in my scrap room with me. The buttons have been sorted many times…….so I need some new ones for her and me to play with.
