These six Go-to Gals are ready to instruct, inspire and knock your socks off with their boundless creativity!

    what’s wrong with your hair??

  2. Pat R says:

At my son’s wedding rehearsal I realized that I had lost an earring. The bride’s mother organized the ring bearer and flower girls to search for it. We did not find it and I took the remaining earring off. Later, at dinner, I approached the kids to thank them for looking; the ring bearer looked at both ears, put his hands on his hips, and exasperatingly said “Now you’ve gone and lost the other one. You need to be more careful.”

  3. My daughter is notorious for talking with food in her mouth. One night at dinner, instead of reminding her to use her manners, I just answered her question (which she asked with a mouthful of salad.) She said, “Mom, you have dentist’s ears.” Her explanation? A dentist can understand what you’re saying even if you have a mouthful of fluoride!

  4. Lori Franklin says:

My nephew told me recently after being asked to sing a song……I got nothin!

  5. Margie Conway says:

    another grandchild cute sayings -

my 8 yr old granddaughter went to work with me at the church where I run the tv broadcast. She was on the stage testing the mic for me with her carefully worded “1..2..3..4.. “as she was instructed when a loud voice came over the house speakers “Olivia this is your conscience speaking” (the pastor on is portable lapel mike) She promptly stomped her foot and said “No you’re not I know what my conscience sounds like! It sounds like my mommy and not an old man!” He was not offended and laughed. They spent the day pulling ricks on one another. It was such a fun day.

  6. Jackie Bumgarner says:

Love the finalists’ cards. So much talent! Funniest thing said by my son when he was about 5. I was giving him a bath and he didn’t like baths. He said we weren’t his “real” family and that his “real” family lived in Oregon and he had 5 brothers and they never made him take baths. We still talk about his “real” family (he’s 19 now) and one year we even took a week long vacation driving around the state of Oregon (we live in TX) looking for his real family. We never found it but we had a great time in Oregon!

  7. Kristina says:

As an elementary teacher, my list of adorable kid quotes grows longer with each day! But I think one of my all-time favorites came this last November leading up to the elections. I teach second grade, and we were discussing campaigning and the process of becoming president. One of my boys, Philly, came up to me and was just pouring out his convictions that Obama just had to win because he was a Democrat and his mom would be really sad if he lost, etc. Now, working waaaay in the back of the room was another one of my cutie boys. He apparently overheard my conversation with Philly, got all excited, and promptly shouted from the back of the room… “Hey! I’m claustriphobic!” Democrats, claustriphobia…. He had a big word, and he found a way to use it. hehe

  8. TishSch says:

Congrats to the top 5 and good luck with your next challenge!

The funniest thing I heard recently from a kid was from my step-granddaughter a few weeks ago. Her daddy is in the Army and has been stationed in Texas for a while. My stepdaughter and all the kiddies moved out there to be with him, and we hadn’t seen them in quite some time. Now he’s been deployed and my stepdaughter and kiddies have moved back to be closer to family while her husband is gone. We got to have a BBQ with them all just before her husband had to leave, and it was the first time we’d seen the kiddies in a while. Our granddaughter (who is now 4) was talking up a storm and spoke very clearly (it helps having 3 older siblings!). My husband said, “Wow, I can’t believe how clearly you can talk now!” Our granddaughter stopped, gave him the funniest “What?!?” look, rolled her eyes, put a hand on her hip and said, “Uh, yeeeeaaaah, of course I can talk, that’s what your mouth is for….” It was the look on her face that made it so funny!

  9. Oralia says:

One of the cutest things my 2 and a half year old has said thus far was one evening when we were in the backyard. He looks up at the sky and not used to seeing the moon ‘lit’ he says, Look mommy, look daddy! Jesus turned the moon on!’ :) Thanks so much for a chance to win!

  10. terriebailey says:

    `Well Done` to all the Ladies…
Good Luck to the finalist ;)

  11. Samantha T. says:

Congrats ladies, awesome cards! What my funny 2 yr. old says: “O give thanks unto the Lord for CHEESE is good (it’s supposed to be He is good).” Can you guess what his favorite food is?

  12. Lori says:

My 3 year old niece didn’t want to go to mother’s day out one day. She wanted to stay home and make a card for her grandfather. Upon arrival at mother’s day out, she put her hands on her hips and said to the teacher “Now here’s the deal…I have to make a card for grandpa today. If I can do that, I’ll stay.” The teacher calmly looked at her and said, “we’re making a St. Patrick’s Day art project today. After it dries, you can give it to whoever you’d like.” My niece smiled and began making the craft project.

All these kiddie quotes are so funny! Thanks for the chance to win.

  13. Connie Wright says:

I was teaching some Awana Cubbies (4 year old children) and trying to explain to them that “we all have sinned” so they would understand why Jesus died for us. I asked them to tell me something wrong they had done. My granddaughter who was in my class said, “I flushed the stool when daddy was taking a shower!”

  14. Christine says:

    Congratulations ladies!

I don’t have a particular memory but my niece has taught her children to use ASL. It makes me smile when they sign thank you before they can even mouth the words!!!

    Blessings,
    Christine

  15. Brooke says:

Looks like I’m a little late but how could I not tell you what my nephew once said to me. We were outside together and he leaned over and whispered “Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but I’m really Peter Parker” (AKA Spiderman). He believed it too!
