As creative editor of Paper Crafts magazine, it’s my job to identify the trendiest trends at each show I attend, and even though the show was smaller this summer, I’m happy to report that there was absolutely no shortage of trends.
In fact, I’ve got a delicious dozen for you to drool over, so grab some napkins, for it’s going to be a sweet and tasty treat!
1. Vintage. The runaway trend of the show:

Products from Crafty Secrets, Graphic 45, Jillibean Soup, Making Memories and Unity Stamp Company
2. Cameos. Showing their best sides:

3. Fruit. Juicing things up:

4. Patchwork Patterns. More mix than match:

5. Line-drawn images. More than just reading between the lines:

6. Clouds. Always a silver lining:

7. Lace. It’s all about the finery:

8. Letterpress. Straight from your local stationery store:

Products from Spellbinders, Ellison and QuicKutz
9. Bingo Cards. Take a chance on these:

10. Peace Signs. Keepin’ it groovy:

A dozen delicious delights, yes? Watch for these tempting trends in the aisles of your local scrapbook store… and coming to a magazine near you, I’m sure!
I’d love to hear what trend tempts you the most, so leave me a comment by midnight (MDT) on Thursday, August 13 and I’ll whip up a tasty treat for one random winner.
Delighting in the dozen,
~Cath

I think the peace signs are so cute. Back to the 70′s.
I just love the bingo cards, so unexpected and fresh! And I love the fun mixes of color and pattern in alot of these products, very mod and oh so happy!
the vintage and the lace are amazing, I’ve got to have them!! thank you for sharing and for the chance to win
I loved the bingo cards but have to say my favorite trend is the letter press. I love my nestabilities!
I’m liking the lace which surprises me, because I’m usually drawn to funkier stuff!
I’m loving the vintage and lace look
I love the fruit trend, the lace, and the bingo stamp.
I love the smaller scale products for card makers trend!!! Cards are my very favorite paper craft to make these days!!!!
Although I love all things vintage, it’s the ‘mini alphies’ that are tempting me right now. I think they are perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking!
clouds and fruit and small scaled items tempt me for card making ideas!!
well I am always always all about the vintage! so am loving all the goodies that fall into that category! but I am trying to stretch out of my comfort zone a bit more and grab inspiration from several other areas. what fun things you have chosen to highlight! thanks for the peeks!
I love all what I see but I prefere LACE. They are goods to make cards. But all what I see in your blog in this posts is good for all.
Lot of kiis
I love the letterpress… it could help me a lot on doing cards and of course the laces, love love love them!
LOVIN’ the patchwork and the pop of color on the holiday lines…I’m all about the fun color these days!
I’m really into card-making right now because I can share it with others and give them joy. So the smaller scale items really work for me. Thanks for so many ideas!
Huge Hambly fan and the lace looks fantastic. I’m also really into Graphic 45 right now, and am really digging the vintage-toned papers for cards and scrapbooks. So many cool things from CHA!
Definitely clouds and letterpress!
I would say the die cut items. Spellbinders, cricut. I love all the new dies and cartridges. I need to start using them more.
the Christmas paper with yellow is YUMMY! what a great color combo!
I’m a fan of the vintage-y stuff – love the aged look of it all – but I also like the cute fruit lines coming out and I’ll always love birds and owls!!
The vintage trend is my weakness. I love all of the great lines coming out.
Seasonal trends, i.e. winter, spring, summer, and fall, are my absolute favorite because at any given time of the year something is always in style!
I have two favorites and they are the lace and vintage.
I’m all about the lace!
I love a lot of these trends, but the fruit is by far my favorite, it reminds me of my mother’s kitchen and always brings a smile to my face.
I’m loving the fruit trend – there are so many uses for those images, and they are so adorable! I like that they are items a lot of people can relate to as well, making them so versatile.
I love the lace trend myself. Nothing beats a gorgeous piece of lacy wonder to use on a card or a page!
