As creative editor of Paper Crafts magazine, it’s my job to identify the trendiest trends at each show I attend, and even though the show was smaller this summer, I’m happy to report that there was absolutely no shortage of trends.
In fact, I’ve got a delicious dozen for you to drool over, so grab some napkins, for it’s going to be a sweet and tasty treat!

Delighting in the dozen,

Always a sucker for patchwork…so warm and fuzzy! But what I have used the most of lately, that I never did before, is CLOUDS! Love Hero Arts cloud backgrounder on EVERYTHING!
Bingo! That’s my favorite and I hadn’t seen anything like these – thanks. Marta
Right now I love the vintage – thanks for the chance.
I love the smaller scale products for card-making!
I find the letterpress to be the most intriguing ;- )
I really like the Line-drawn images and all the smaller scale products for card makers, I’m always looking for fun sized letters that are easy to fit onto cards.
I love all the vintage stuff coming out!
vintage lace is what I am into these days. I have old family photo’s back to the late 1800′s. Wow, such a cute black and blue purse!!!!
I like the lace and the vintage the best. Thanks for sharing.
Love the vintage looks – the lace and cameos are so pretty. But I also love bright and cheery for cards!
I love the Letterpress! Can’t wait to find out more about it.
Loving the letterpress samples! Looking forward to seeing it all when it releases in the fall!
Love that fruit! I think I am trying to hold on to the last days of summer!
That fruit is a huge trend! I love it! thanks for a chance to win such a good prize
I love the vintage stuff! I am seeing a lot of that popping up lately
I love the clouds and the fruit. I see a lot of stamps that are coming out with cloud themes.
I am really loving the vintage. I bought several packs of the new MM line! I love them. So cool, even on modern pages!
My favorite is the clouds and holiday paper. How cute are those rows of houses. I’m drooling over the paper. Thanks for sharing. Naz
We love the bird paper!
I’m loving the clouds and the also the smaller scale items for card makers.
loving all the lovely new trends- and definitely loving the smaller scale products for cardmakers- really great!
The bingo cards and fun mixes of patterns on the papers are fantastic!
I am most fond of the scaled down products for card makers. I also think that a lot of current trends are a direct result of the current uncertain economy. They reflect a “safer” time in our lives.Since I’m a “vintage” hippie-the nostalgia is extremely comforting.
LOVE LOVE LOVE our bingo card!
Fruit and clouds are my favorites, but you’ve got lots of yummy goodness there! Oh, and scaled down products, that way I can collect MORE!
The Letterpress kit looks very intriguing.
I definetly love the vintage. I already purchased some of the Making Memories new vintage line and love it. I also love the bingo cards. I think they give a lot of definition for either cards or scrapbook pages.
I love the clouds……….
The Letterpress!!! I’ve got mine on layaway
That letterpess stuff is intriging to me. I love that look of deep embossing. And the cameos? The mixed patterns? Really it all looks neat to me.
Thanks for the super recap on trends! I didn’t realize cameos were in there and am so glad you posted that! I love them!
(I just won on the blog last week – so please don’t enter me to win) I love seeing the trends all together. I love the lace trend, especially in paper prints!!!
So much to tempt me, but I have a real soft spot for clouds and fruit is always so fun and colorful!
Well hot diggity, so glad I found this post, I was so not tired of seeing the new products! Thanks for all the wonderful chances to WIN free stuff
I love the vintage and LACE. Lace is one of my favorites and I’d love to see more available for the card-making crowd.
OMG!!! I love the fruit! How stinkin’ cute!
I love the Letterpress!
I love the trends this year! The non-trad winter colors, vintage, cameos and lace are all fab! And to see smaller scale items for card makers is great too. thanks for all your reporting, Luv It!
I think the smaller scale trend is great – shows that card making is on the up again!
It also looks like a lot mroe boy/male oriented papers and ranges too
Fiona
Totally the letterpress! It’s so graphic and simple and bold.
Letterpress! I have no idea how to use it, but would love to learn. What a great new tool for card making!
My favorite trend is making my own!
but of the ones you listed I am liking the bingo/game aspect!
My comments are not showing up, so I’m trying once again, figuring that the third time is a charm.
Whereas I’m totally delighted about the smaller scale stuff for card makers, I’m totally thrilled and elated about the VINTAGE trend. IMHO Cameos & lace are part of that trend.
So, my final answer for the third time is: VINTAGE!!!
P.S. I like the clouds too. Works well with birds, butterflies, etc.
Without a doubt, the lacy trend is a winner in my book. It reminds me of the Victorian era and the beautiful handkerchiefs of my childhood with their lacy trims. Just gorgeous.
Since “all of them” can’t be an answer I’d have to say the smaller items meant for card making. Not because I’m a card maker…but because I have really been drawn to lots of white space on my layouts and I love the smaller letters and details that I can add and still leave my white space.
(Did that make sense??) LOL! Everything looks so tempting and gorgeous, though!!
Fruit and clouds are my favourites! Soo dreamy and cute.
Wow, love all the stuff – so glad to see the vintage trend continuing, and I’m absolutely drooling over the lace and cameo items. Oh, for an unlimited crafting budget, LOL!
I like the small scale products trend. I think the products would work nice with mini albums and cards.
Awesome items! I can’t wait to get my hands on Unity’s new bingo stamp!
Vintage is definitely my fav, but I am intrigued by the Holiday lines with Yellow Pop and Clouds.
