Welcome to Freebie Friday! Hopefully you’ve enjoyed the promotion of A Card a Day thus far. Like Jennifer mentioned yesterday, you have until 5:00 p.m. (EST) today to order this fabulous new book and receive free shipping! Why not get a head start on your Christmas shopping!
Speaking of Christmas, it will be here before you know it. I’ve already spotted twinkle lights hanging from several houses in my neighborhood. My philosophy is if you can’t beat them, why not join them? Why not get your holiday cards made and out of the way?
If you need some inspiration for all those cards you intend to send out, A Card a Day has plenty of designs to get you in the ho-ho-ho spirit. The best part of this book…when it’s January and you’re stuck in your house waiting for Valentine’s Day to roll around, this book will keep you company and remind you that every day is the perfect day to create a handmade card.
If you’re one of those people who loves to make “Just Because” cards, A Card a Day is laid out just like a calendar – all the major holidays are covered, but there’s also plenty of designs for those days in between when you just want to say “hi” or “thinking of you”. In fact, Wendy Sue Anderson, the mastermind behind this book, designed the lead project for each of the 12 months. What do you think of her Fall Blessings Card? This is the lead card for November.

Have two birthdays and a thank you card you need to send out in November? These are the card designs for Nov. 1, 2 and 3.

My favorite time to create is at night. I’m a night owl.

I tend to get my second wind late at night and want to get started. That’s when the kids are sleeping and the house is the quietest
-
I’m most creative during the night.
What a great book!! -
I love your magazine and have subscribed for several years. I can’t say that I have a particular time of day when I feel most creative. My craft space is limited and I have to share it with my daughter, so sometimes it seems like more work to get ready to scrap then it is worth. Someday I will have my very own space.
-
My creative thoughts strick at all different times. However, my ability to sit down at that very moment and create is usually not then. But I “try” to make my cards in the mornings. The other times I jot down my ideas!!
-
I never have a specific time that I am most creative – it just seems to show up when I should be doing housework – LOL!
-
I feel most creative when my little one is asleep. So, usually it’s early-morning and late night. Love to win “A copy of card a day.”Does this books have a papercrafting kit that will go along with this book? that would be so cool!!
-
I create best early in the morning or late at night . . . that’s when I have the least amount of distractions!!

I’m most creative late afternoon or early evening.
-
I would prefer to create in the morning, but I end up doing it all in the evening b/c that is when the kids are asleep!

I feel most creative in the morning, although I sometimes get “caught up” and suddenly it is time to make dinner.
-
No particular time of day – but it is usually when I have most of my ‘have to do’ things crossed off my list (so it really depends on the day).
-
This card a day looks like a great source of inspiration. I’m a late night owl for sure!

I’m most creative at night after the kids have gone to sleep.
This book looks fantastic….I so need it

I’m most creative late morning after I’ve gotten all my work done and have a minute to slow down.
-
I feel most creative in the afternoon or evening! You could say I’m a ‘night’ person. Thanks for the sneak peeks and this chance!
-
I find that I am most creative at night. Even if it has been a rough, exhausting day, I feel the need to be creative after the kids have been tucked into bed. Even if it is something as simple as matting a few photos for a page, I like to have this creative outlet.
-
I work better at night, when the house is quiet!
-
it doesn’t matter what time of the day it is. for me, it’s more like i’d better be ready whenever the creative mood strikes because then anytime of the day or night is good for me!
-
I don’t consider myself a morning person. I usually wake up between 6-7 AM and snuggle on the couch with my dog while consuming two large mugs of coffee before I become human. But… lately my most creative time of the day is first thing in the morning. I wake up with ideas and barely get one cup of coffee in because it gets cold while I’m playing with paper. Thanks fo the opportunity to win this awesome book!
-
I love to be in my stamp room in late afternoon but then I end up spending way too many hours there. I think that is my best time to be creative. Usually I end up making cards in the evening, though.
-
great idea
-
These cards are gorgeous!!!
I seem to be most creative late at night!!! It’s quiet in the house..
Sometimes during the day when dd & dh are gone I can get the creativity
flowing!!Thanks for the chance to win!!!
