Welcome to Freebie Friday! We may only be a week into the New Year, but it’s clear that the readers of this blog have one important goal for 2010: paper craft more!
Whether you want to try new techniques, a different style or (finally!) submit your designs for publication, we hope this year will be one where you “start” and “finish” many projects.
If you’re looking for a little inspiration to get those creative juices flowing, look no further than our latest special issue, Card Creations: Start to Finish, Vol. 2. On sale now, this magazine boasts over 300 ideas for the front and inside of your cards!
All next week we’ll be spotlighting this inspirational magazine right here and on the Moxie Fab World blog. Since this issue has a unique “start to finish” premise, we’ll be following suit by starting our promotional week here on Monday and finishing the week with Cath on Moxie Fab World. Fabulous cards, daily giveaways…doesn’t that sound like paper crafting paradise?
Here on Paper Crafts Connection, instead of just one designer spotlight, we’ll be interviewing all three of our talented cover girls from Monday to Wednesday! Each one will have their own day to share their unique design secrets, as well as talk about the inspiration for their individual cover cards. Make sure you join us as we get to know Tanis Giesbrecht, Charlene Austin and Becky Olsen just a little bit better!
Ready’s for today’s giveaway? Our good friend Anna Griffin is off to a very good “start” in 2010! Anna is set to make her HSN debut Tuesday, Jan. 12 with the launch of her brand new show, Anna Griffin Designer Paper Crafting. Featuring exclusive papers, embellishments and crafting accessories, each is designed by Anna to celebrate memories with elegance and sophistication. If you’d like to tune in, Anna’s segments will air at 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. (EST).
Anna has graciously donated three of her new clear stamp storage binders – an item that will debut on HSN! These stamp binders feature 12 individual plastic pockets with tab tops and 66 total stickers for organization. To be eligible for our random drawing, leave a comment telling me a project you would like to “finish” in 2010. All comments must be received by midnight (MST) on Sunday, Jan. 9.

Three lucky people will win this two-binder stamp storage set!
See ya back here for Card Creations: Start to Finish Week!

My project that I’d like to finish is actually organizing all my papers into my new scrap tote to make room for other goodies I’ve recently acquired and don’t have space for.
I would love to ‘finish’ getting my ton of supplies all organized & neat – as well as my pictures organized on my computer. After that ‘project’ is finished, I think I will be more creative & be able to think!
Where do I begin??? Actually, I would like to finish two scrapbooks. One from a lovely vacation, and one of my granddaughter’s first year. That’s the goal I’ve set for finishing large projects.
I would like to finish editing and printing my photos from past years. Yikes!
I love Anna Griffin and there has definitely not been enough scrapbooking shows on the shopping networks. I wrote the day and times down and will try and tune in. Thanks for a chance to win.
I’m hoping to finish at least 2008 and 2009 pages!
I’ve got everything I need, just have to take the
time to get it done!
Please enter me in your give-a-way!
Thanks – Carla
I don’t really have a specific project in mind…but I would like to complete more submissions for publication.
Thanks for the gorgeous giveaways!
Anna Griffin…haven’t seen her in awhile! And the binder looks like something I need. Well, I’ve got so many projects…many of which are in my head! I need to finish an album for my son who took a two week backpacking trip and ended up with tons of pictures. And since he’s leaving home I’d like to make a recipe album for him of his favorite Mom meals. And then he needs a grad album too. Heavens!
Most of all I want to get my scrap room re-organized again! This time I want to concentrate on putting things away but clearly accessible (see-thru plastic containers) and labeled by the way I actually scrap, not someone else’s good idea; I need a convenient working area that is not conducive to piling all over my scrapping desk!
Then I can get to work on those projects I’ve been collecting stuff for—-mostly family albums.
I would like to make enough cards so I don’t feel there is a deadline looming! I would like to reach in the cupboard for what I need and it would be there.

What a beautiful binder! I would really like to finish more cards in time to submit for publication. It’s one of my goals this year – to be published somewhere!
I would love the start and finish an album to preserve pictures of my grandmother’s from the 1920′s. I have picked out some beautiful embellishments and have some outline ideas. Most of the people I do not know, so there is no family ties that I am aware of, but they are really cool!
One thing I’d like to finish is the shower curtain my dd and I are making. It is a take off on the gradiant shower curtain Moxie Fab highlighted as a trend from Anthropologie.
I’d like to get my new stamp area set up & organized and finish scrapping our Disneyland trip from a few years ago.
Would love to finish the scrapbooks that I had started – 2008 vacation, daughter’s wedding, sister’s wedding. Have a grandbably coming in July and would love to have a clean slate to start hers.
Maybe some tricks to help boost my self confidence about these would be good.
Thanks,
I’d like to finish re-organizing my craft room, getting my layouts into albums, and finish stalled projects.
I joined in on a challenge to make 10 Christmas cards per month for the whole year. In addition, I would like to make at least one craft project per month that isn’t a card. You know, like an altered item or other paper crafty item!
I will finish my 2009 album and make a large dent in all my old pictures that need scrapbooking. I will stay focused on 2010 and scrapbook all along the way and finish 2010 scrapbook without any problems. The power of positive thinking!!!!
wonderful!!! thanks for the chance!!
I would like to finish organizing my craft room. I made great progress over the holiday by moving ribbon and buttons to new storage methods and actually finishing all my card kits from various classes and conventions (super yeah!). Now I just need to reorder my tools and supplies to make the most used easily accessible. And do it before I buy more stuff!!!
I would like to take more time to create cards this year. They are really my first crafting love and I feel so at peace when creating them. I also want to participate in some challenges here and other sites!
I have a bazillion unfinished projects, but I would most like to finish up my daughter’s college scrapbook–she graduated in 2007! Especially since she is getting married in June. I will definitely want to do something for that as well! I am the queen of procrastination (altho to be fair to myself, I do work fulltime), but I am starting to drive even myself crazy!
I’d like to finish a vacation album from our family reunion in Oregon this past summer. My husband and I took over 800 photos (!) from this week-long trip, and we bought a few more when we went whitewater rafting. So it’s a daunting task, but I WILL finish it in 2010!
These stamp binders are so cool! Functional on the inside and so pretty on the outside. Thanks for the chance to win.
I hop to START and finish
some scrapbooking projects! Also finish some projects I made at CKC and other sccrap shows this past year.
I would like to finish college in 2010. That won’t happen, but I’d like to. I’m getting a little tired of school!
Love these storage binders–so practical and so trendy! I would love to make more time this year to craft with friends. It’s always so rewarding and fun!
I have been wanting to start and finish a scrapbook of my own childhood. Something to pass to my children and future grandchildren. Those binders are adorable and perfect for my clear stamp collections, thank you for the chance to win!!
I have been trying to complete four 8×8 albums for each one of my children (I hate to say they are 17, 19, 22, & 24!). Anyway, my goal was to do an album from birth through high school graduation for each one of them. Well…I have most of the supplies and have started two of the four. I was on a good roll until I had to get some other things accomplished. Yes, the days seem to slip by way to fast! Now we are in 2010 and I WILL accomplish ALL the albums. I need to because I have one child who got married this past summer!!!
Wish me good luck! (I know I can do it!).
Thanks for putting out my FAVORITE magazine!

The 1st project to finish is a set of Christmas cards and family frame I started in 2008. I didn’t get to finish it that year because my baby girl was born 2 weeks early in October and that was the end of that. Speaking of my baby girl, I want to create a picture frame for her 1st birthday which was in October. I also have 2 frames to complete for a couple friends daughters. Plus many many more….
A project I would like to start finish would be a scrapbook of my dogs and cats.
I am determined to finish cleaning out and re-organizing my craft room!!! It’s a total mess right now, and it’s driving me bonkers!!! Those binders are super cute!! Thanks for the chance to win!
Hhhmm, what would I like to finish…
I’d really like to paint the stairwells and halways in my house…I know – BORING!! But I keep putting it off and I would like to get it done!!
My thesis. Sigh…
I would like to do my granddaughters first year album (she will be 1yr old Feb 5th) and start my other granddaughters album-she was born in Sept.
what do I want to finish this year? Organizing my brand new craft room so it is easier to find things. Some of it is done, but the closet is still full of moving boxes….
I have lots of projects to finish–but the biggest I think is to get my work space and craft area more organized–so I can finish all those projects!
I’m going to actually send out more of the cards I make, cheer someones day!
That question is easy! My DH has been on my case to finish our honeymoon scrapbook from our trip to Peru in July, so that one comes first. Then, he’s picking on me that our 2009 book is about to get lapped as I’ve only done 1 January page so far. So as my DH says, 2010 is “more scrapbook pages and less cards!” LOL!
I want to scrap more, take more pictures of my husband, and just be bold and daring and try knew things!! I love those binders!! Black, white and pink . . . perfect color combo!!
I would love to become more organized in my scrapbooking room. I have the space, just need to be better organized so I can be more productive in 2010.
I have three projects I’d like to finish. One is getting several years worth of photos printed so I can scrap them. Second is to do a mini album of me and last is to finish organizing my stamps. How cool that this giveaway is all about organization AND that I have been getting rid of colourful boxes in favour of kraft, WHITE and BLACK! How perfect right? That will make my colourful ribbons, tools and markers stand out and my boxes will never clash!
I want to get my photos organized, printed and backed up so I can be ready to scrapbook when inspired. Love the cute binders!
2010 to do list…where do I begin. I believe the top thing on my list is to WIN on one of these blogs I follow….hehe….then on to getting my Videos onto DVD. Started doing this the beginning of last year….but….yet another year has gone by & they are not finished *bummer*.
Those binders are beautiful…love Anna Griffin!
oh sigh, this is just fabulous! And to think her debut is on my birthday. Such a celebration!
Hmmm….do we ever get finished with our scrapbooking goals? I’m just about to finish a trip to Disney from this past spring….but so much has happened since then….so I guess my job is to try and get caught up on all that has happened since March. I have a tendency to just make small things because I can finish them quickly, but then my husband says, well, that’s pretty, but what’s it for? I think I need to make sure my projects have a purpose, too – other than just because they are pretty!
I’ve been saying this for three years….OUR FAMILY QUILT! AHHH! I think it might take a lifetime to finish:)
THANKS for the giveaway!
to redo my craft room, get it organized and beautified, can’t wait
I would like to finish my Arizona trip scrapbook; I would also like to catch up on the family reunions. I am 3 behind so I am hoping this year to catch up so I am EVEN.
I would love to finish up some altered frames & many scrapbook pages that just begging to be finished.
I have a box of photos that I’d like to get *out* of that box and onto a page!
