It used to be that we only got a peek into the craft rooms of our readers via the survey we circulated once each year. That information was, and still is, like spun gold to us.
The reason? It’s important that we bring you a series of regular issues and special interest publications showcasing just what you want to see, exactly when you want to see it.
That right there has always been our challenge, mainly because we work about six or seven months in advance to orchestrate the perfect symphony of new products, trends and paper crafted projects that come together in a way that’s music to your ears.
But now with this blog, Facebook, meet-and-greets at trade shows and very engaging message boards, we hear what you think on a much more frequent basis. And sometimes? We get feedback within minutes. Minutes.
One thing we know for sure: you are STAMPERS.

Lots of stampers swung by our booth at CHA to celebrate the release of Stamp It! Cards.
According to our most recent survey, 85% of you use stamping most often. Naturally, right behind that on the list of techniques is inking and aging, heat embossing and coloring images with markers. You stamp alphabets and backgrounds, but mostly it’s more like images and sentiments.
Your favorite projects to make are cards, followed in distant second place by scrapbook layouts and then by gifts. If you were in charge of the magazine, you’d be sure that projects were more plentiful than anything else but techniques would be the thing that gave project count a run for its money.
Here’s what we like best, though — you look through our magazine and decide to make a project you’ve seen because you’re inspired by the style. It’s an added bonus if you have the supplies on hand already.
So I’m going to make it easy on you, and be sure that you’re both inspired by the style AND have the supplies on hand. How about some bright and cheerful stamps from American Crafts?

Could you, perhaps, be inspired by the Herbs collection of clear stamps from American Crafts?
And since you’re all about heat embossing too, maybe you need some Zing:

Meet the color Leaf -- it will be joined by friends Rouge, Wave, Apricot and Silver!
All you have to do is tell me what your stamp style is. Are you more fun and cute, clean and graphic, classy and elegant or shabby chic/vintage? I’m going to snag three of you who comment and send you not only the stamp set and Zing colors I mentioned above, but also a copy of Stamp It! Cards and one of our super duper extra special Stamp It! Cards buttons from CHA Winter. All comments must be received by midnight (MST) on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Maybe you’ll be inspired to the highest level and find your next project on one of our covers, just like Lynn Ghahary did with Stamp It! Cards.

Cover Girl Lynn Ghahary with her very first showing!
Happy stamping, my friends!
Jennifer
P.S. It’s time to hop over to the Moxie Fab World! I hear the Tuesday Trigger this week comes directly from the pages of Stamp It! Cards. Paper Crafts Go-to Gal Kim Hughes gains inspiration from one of Kimberly Crawford’s 12 gorgeous cards. There’s also an opportunity for two commenters to win four different Gina K Designs stamp sets!

I have lots of styles! LOL I like clean and simple, shabby chic and also elegant. It’s hard to choose just one with so many great stamps to choose from! Love the new issue of Stamp It!
Boy…where do I start….hmm….cute & fun, sometimes clean-n-graphic, and gonna start doing a Vintage card, been into vintage lately! But,,,,really…love the variety of card making….but mostly…making it my own!
Gina from Cali…
More fun & cute! Life’s too short not to laugh and sing!
I’m more of a clean and simple cardmaker!
trying to become more dimensional with embellies and layering!
I guess my mood and my project dictates my style, I like to do most anything except vintage.
I’m more of the cutesy but I love the elegant and shabby shic looks!
My style is definitely Elegant and vintage, somewhat shabby though I do a bit of CAS, cute and whimsical.
my favorite card style is simple elegance… but i also enjoy making humorous cards for those who enjoy them. and i get a little grungy when making cards for tweens and teens.
My style is bring on the bling! I like sparkle and ribbons and layers, oh my! I heat emboss a lot on my cards but I also like the look of embossing folders. I guess I’m all about the texture
Clean & simple with a little elegance
I love mixing elegant and vintage together!
I try other themes, but tend to go back to the same
look. Love the new colour of the zing embossing powder.
Just gorgeous!
Thanks for the opportunity to win some wonderful product!

I’m working on developing my own style. I still rely on inspiration from my favorite artists. It’s so wonderful to have access to creative people’s blogs! My copy of Stamp It Cards is already dogeared. You did a great job showcasing a variety of styles that were beautifully executed. I love the antique images from Hero Arts and the crisp, clean look of PTI. I do love to stamp – when I’m working on a project, I lose all track of time.
Well I thought I had my style figured out, but I recently have found out otherwise!
Someone asked me the other day what my style was and I said clean & simple, and they said really? Like they didn’t think so, so maybe it’s ever changing! But I really enjoy clean & simple!
I am not a very expert stamper as yet but am learning fast. I probably tend towards arty, or grunge styles, but will give anything a go!
Thanks for the chance to win this great prize
I am fun and cute all the way! Haha! I just can’t help it!
That’s a hard one since I like lots of different stamping styles, but right now I’m really liking the vintage look.
As much as I would love to be CAS kind of girl (and sometimes am), I’m really a cute card maker. I’m drawn to the cartoony and cute images.
I love experimenting with all the styles. I think most often, though, my style is bright and cheery, with bright coloured images, or paper piecing.
I would say I’m eclectic. Sometimes Clean and Graphic and sometimes Vintage chic, depending on my mood
I haven’t been stamping for a long time so not quite sure what kind of stamper I am, but vintage is definately in there. I am trying to try different things to see what my style is but for now just having fun creating and sending cards!
I go back and forth between fun & simple. I love looking at all the styles of your designers. This is great stuff!
I love elegant cards, and cards with “empty space”, not overflowing with embellishments, though I try to make cards of every style. I really, really want to do vintage/collage style cards, but it’s a real challenge for me!
I think of my stamping style as distressed pretty.
Definately a clean and simple kind of stamper.
I like clean and simple lines, but I also like for the card to look simply elegant. I’m partial to soft muted colors, but am not opposed to splashes of color. Thanks for the chance to win.
I do not have a “style” as a stamper. I like to try new methods and different materials. I do whatever I am in the mood for that day–sometimes cute, sometimes elegant and sometimes vintage. I like it all!
Others often call my cards elegant but I think I’d like to work on the “fun” style a little more.
My stamping style is classic, easy-going. I love interesting color combinations and try to keep the “lines” of the card clean. Love Stamp It magazine.
My style depends on my mood, totally. But if I HAD to pick one, I’d say maybe cutesy.
My style is simple, but I do like to try different things. As long as it won’t ruin my project…
elegant, clean and simple, vintage, and a bit of cute. Love the stamp set you’re giving away!
I’m a split personality that alternates between Vintage/Shabby & Cute/Whimsical.
I guess I could best describe my style as eclectic. I have lots of stamps in all styles. I tend to go on spurts with styles. I guess right now I am into the cute and fun phase because of all the adorable girly stamps out there like Magnolias and CC designs and The Greeting Farm. I also like clean and simple, but I have been one to dabble with collage and scenes, too. Thanks for a chance to win an awesome prize, too!
I would call my style between cute and fun, and clasy and elegant, although sometimes its a combination of all of them. I love all the stamps out there! Thanks for the chance to win some!
My style is usually clean and simple.
although I like to experiment and try new things I normally revert back to shabby chic/vintage, I have to distress almost everything and very rarely make a ‘clean’ card! Love all things old, yet my hubby is younger than me, now how does that work?
I stamp all styles, but my most recent would be elegant. I am enjoying all the spellbinders dies with my stamping, so I have been doing a lot of elegant stamping lately!
April
I guess I would say that my style lends itself to whatever I can color – cute whimsical images, botanicals, florals, you name it! if it can be colored, I love to play with it!
it depends on my mood–but i will try any stamping. i do love to emboss–so i emboss just about everything i stamp. i also love copics for coloring!!
I’m still trying to figure out my stamping style and in the process am buying WAY to many stamps. If I had to pin it down, I’d say I’m trying for a simple stamping style – not too modern art looking
I think my style is clean and classy, but I am trying to migrate more to simple
Thank you for a chance to win that beautiful stamp set!
I tend to be graphic and sometimes Shabby chic. I like to try new things, so I can’t really pin down a particular style.
I do mostly collages and ATCs but my favorite style is vintage. Love botanicals, Asian, Italian, and travel. I am always looking for things to create other than cards.
My style is definitely clean and simple. I use stamps mostly for sentiments but also occasionally for the main focus.
I tend to like the clean and graphic stamp styles, ones that are basic seem more versatile and easier for me to use more consistently. Thanks for the chance to win
Right now my style is classy and elegant, but it changes to fun and cute around certain holidays.
My style changes from shabby chic to clean and stylish. I think much of it depends on the purpose for which I am stamping. I am so loving reading through these blog posts this week!
I’m not sure what my style is. I like the old look, I guess vintage and shabby chic categories would cover that. I like to make cards for my daughters so they know I am thinking of them and they are surprised when they receive them. I try to utilize everything in a card, stamping, sewing, whether its a button or border, fabric and something shiny! I would love to win the magazine as I need direction with my stamping. There are so many ways to stamp and I want to learn more. Thanks..
I love fun and cute and simple. I don’t have too much time to make cards chasing a one year old. I would love to win this prize. Thanks for the chance.
Graphic, classy and elegant thats me. Love your site, so much inspiration. Thanks for the chance to win.
