Welcome to Magazine Monday! Is everyone getting excited for St. Patrick’s Day? Make sure you check back with us on Wednesday for Kim Hughes’ Groovin’ with the Go-to Gals post. She’s designed three cards using three different shades of green and will announce some fun challenges for anyone who wants to play along.
Since we’re in full St. Patty’s countdown mode, I thought I would share some of the cards we made at our last card group. I gave everyone the option of making either St. Patrick’s Day cards or cards of a different theme. The only catch…they all had to incorporate glorious green!

Once again, we gathered around Jennifer's dining room table for a night of crafting.
Since new momma Brandy was at home with her new little man, she sat out last month’s card group. Which means…I just happen to have an extra set of these lovely green cards. Green is not my favorite color, but I do like green. I like mint green, kelly green, sage green, & forest green.
I love a bright, springy green. The color of grass or when the new leaves are just sprouting from the trees.
A lightish dusty green maybe? Love green.
This is going to sound weird but I just love pea-soup green! I painted my powder room pea-soup green and it is the room I am happiest with in my house. My living room is a spring green and I just painted my infant daughters room pink and sage green! I am a green-nut!
For some reason I put the “Green, Glorious Green” to the tune of “Food, Glorious Food” from the movie Oliver. So in that vein—”Please, sir. Could I have some more, sir?” More green!!
I’m not a big green person but I do like the dark hunter green. I also, like the grey greens (on the darker range).
My favorite green today is Lime Green, since I am wearing a lime big shirt with navy pants and tee as I am reading this! Happy Monday!
My fave would have to be “LIME”…..nice and bright and fresh.

Those are all lovely! My favorite shade of green would be a pale celery green!
Wonderful cards. But of course most the cards you all make are great! So I have to say Lime Green is my favorite shade of green. It makes me think of food…lol.
I love GREEN, very much. . . But I have to say, that my go-to green right now is SU’s Old Olive. I have a thing for earthy tones.

I like, and wear often, a nice clear apple green for a favorite.
I wear Sage green, and the deep blue greens. I love bright greens that aren’t too glow in the dark, if you know what I mean. I am planning on scrap lifting these card ideas, so TIA.

M favorite shayde of green is Sage. All the cards are beautiful.
My favorite shade of green is grass, otherwise know as Jelly Bean Green.
I love the vibrant green that Beth has used in her Celebrate card. Such a happy color that just screams “Celebrate”!

My favorite is kelly green. I have no other choice having Irish in me genes! These cards are fabulous—-thanks for the chance to win. I love the group picture of everyone. I wish I could be a part of that too!
Definitely Lime Green! I seem to gravitate to this green whenever I use green.

bright lime or kelly green (those are my christmas greens instead of the old traditional evergreen) and my two soft greens are moss or celadon (my bathroom is done in both!) thanks!

Green is my favorite color! My favorite shade is Hunter Green because it is so rich with color.
I love all the cards! If I had to pick a green, it would be lime green It goes so well with other greens and other colors.
My favorite shade of green is the soft yellowy-green of new willow leaves or the Close to my Heart color Sweet Leaf – I painted my family room and kitchen that color and it has such a fresh garden feel!

For St. Patrick’s day it would have to be Kelly Green, but otherwise I like lime green.

I tend to lean toward the Sagey Spring Green colors, I have toile curtains in my craft room made of that color…

Gee, I didn’t think that was such a hard question at first, but gosh, there are a lot of greens out there. I guess my fave would have to be lime green. It is so bright and cheerful and reminds me of Spring and the Caribbean. Thanks for a chance to win these great cards.

I didn’t really like green for a long time, but then Basic Grey came out with their Lime Rickey line…and I loved the color green they chose. Ever seen I think bright greens are awesome!
I have a fun St. Patty’s birthday card to share (it’s my father-in-laws bday)! Hopefully I’ll have a chance to share it this week.

I love soft muted shades of green, avocado, mint, puce.
I like apple green. It’s such a soft fresh color and always makes me feel happy!

I would have to say that my bedroom walls are my favorite shade of green. Grayish green but not dark. The paint sample was called Lyndhurst Green! Haha

I’m very fond of sage and celery.
