Welcome to Freebie Friday! Is this exciting week really over? Say it isn’t so! While all good things must come to an end, we hope you’ve been inspired by the amazing sketches and projects we’ve featured this week. If anything, maybe it’s jump-started your creative battery and you’ve found yourself viewing sketches in a whole new light. Because let’s face it…the possibilities are endless!
Like Jennifer mentioned yesterday, we do often get caught up in “magazine” time, which is usually 6-7 months ahead of “real” time. Being able to read your comments and see the blog traffic (thank you, by the way!) is thrilling for us because we get to relive the fun of putting together Go-to Sketches. And as you’ve seen from some of the behind-the-scenes photos this week, a good great time was definitely had by all!
Speaking of “all”…we must thank our fabulous Go-to Gals for all their hard work this week. Someone referred to them as the “Go-to Geniuses” and I think this is an accurate description. (And if we ever get tired of the Go-to Gal title, we’ve got a something else to consider!) We’re gathering for another editorial board meeting in a couple of weeks, and I can’t wait to see my sweet GTGs!

I discovered Jessica Witty’s blog. Actually I discovered a lot of new blogs with many interesting cards and techniques. A good time for the week. I loved seeing all the stuff each of them has created.
All the blogs were worth the hop and I know I’ll be visiting them again. Some of my favorites include Joslyn’s, Kim’s and Donna’s. They were all great and their projects liftable!

I found the blog of Betsy’s friend Danni Reid. Betsy’s one of my heroes, so I trust her taste, and I wasn’t disappointed at Danni’s.
I had never been to Betsy Veldman’s blog (if you can believe it!!) but I should have before this…she is so talented and creative!
Kim Kesti sent us off to visit Tina Cockburn! I had never before seen her work and man was it amazing! I loved that! I really enjoyed the friend’s blog hop the best of all this week!
I added several – and I do mean several – to my list of blogs I follow.
One that stands out right now is Heidi VanLaar at http://vanlaardesigns.blogspot.com. I really like her fresh designs and color palette. I loved all the blog hops this week and if I don’t end up winning a copy of Go to Sketches I will definitely be going to be buying one!

I discovered a bunch of great new blogs, one that stands out is Rae Barthel’s. I love hopping around and seeing what everyone is up to. Thanks to all for sharing their talent with us.

I am new to cardmaking and scrapbooking and just started looking for blogs on these subjects and I have to say I am so thrilled to discover all of blogs-I look forward to all their new posts and they have all inspired me to get into my craft room and create–My thanks to all of you for all of your creative ideas. You are all so very talented.

I had never visited Jessica Witty’s blog before. While I love looking at her lovely creations, her great sense of humor makes reading her blog fun too!
Betsy Veldman’s was new to me. And I really don’t understand because I do all your hops. May just be a senior moment, but I’ll sure be back to visit.
Most of the ladies on the hop were regular blogs on my must visit list (yes, I have too many). However, I had never visited Lisa Spangler’s blog before. I have seen her work on the Hero Arts blog but it was nice to visit her own space. I’m an Aussie, so I just love Lisa’s accent in all of her videos!

I’d Have to say it’s pretty impossible to choose, they are all such talented gals! All the bloggs are entertaing and refreshing in their humour and approaches to their craft! So many wonderful designers with fantastic blogs. I was already familiar with Betsy’s and Teri’s blogs, so spent more time on all of the other Go-to-Gals blogs which was fun. Loved some of the projects I discovered on Danielle Flanders blog as well as Roree Rumph’s, a name I recognize from having many samples picked up in magazines. Great inspiration!
Actually, I have been a fan of Moxie World but didn’t really find myself coming to the Paper Crafts Connection blog at all until the Sketches became available. OMG what a resource here. Can’t wait to share it with others!
