I thought it would be fun to play a little game with the new Go-to Sketches special issue. Since everything was shot on white, you might have to look a little closer to answer all the questions. So get out your magnifying glass, put on your detective hat and let’s play I-Spy!
You must have a copy of Go-to Sketches in front of you. All I-Spy questions will be directly related to this issue and this issue only. (If you don’t own it, why not stalk your local bookstore, craft store or the library. Just make sure you don’t rip the pages in your excitement!)
Go-to Sketches I-Spy Questions:
1. I spy three stacked plates. How many times throughout the magazine are three plates used in a shot?
2. I spy a cute sock monkey. This childhood doll was the inspiration for designer Julie Campbell, who used one of Betsy’s sketches. What is the sentiment on this card?
3. I spy one of our Go-to Gals holding something in her hand. Which designer is it and what is she holding?
4. I spy a very creative math equation. How did Jennifer reach her total of 282 projects? (We know it doesn’t add up! Just go with it, people!)
5. I spy a little birdie or three. What page number is Ashley C. Newell’s “Hey Chick Card” on? Psst…it’s also on the cover!
6. I spy a few of man’s best friends. How many projects in Go-to Sketches feature dogs?
7. I spy the new girl. Which Go-to Gal refers to herself as “the new girl on the block”?
8. I spy a crafty woman who likes a good checklist. Which one of our Go-to Gals is obsessed with making lists?
9. I spy tumbling skulls on a Halloween card by Heidi Van Laar. How many skulls are pictured?
10. I spy A LOT of white props! What other unlikely objects did I spray-paint while creating this special issue’s props? (Hint: This answer is actually not in the magazine, but I did provide a little clue…and this picture!)
