P. Kelly Smith

Welcome to Magazine Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying this Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for all the comments after our big Gallery Idol Top 20 announcement. I know these 20 gals will do an amazing job with their first theme: Creativity Heals. Make sure to check back with us next Monday, June 7 when voting begins for round one!

Until then, let’s “ooh” and “aah” over another challenge: Jessica Witty’s Phone Book Challenge. When Jessica came up with the idea of paper crafting with the pages from a phone book, I think we all unaimously said, “Why didn’t I think of that?” We all have old phone books lying around…why not put them to good use? It’s brilliant!

Apparently this idea resonated with a few of you, too. Would you like to meet the cards who quite simply “had us at hello”? Here’s the three winners!

 Winner #1 – Anya Schrier:

We loved the trio of flowers in Anya's Hey There Card.

4654868321 d96ef3c5da o Magazine Monday Phone Book Challenge Winners!

Lovin' the telephone theme in Belinda's It's Been Too Long Card!

 Winner #3 – Trinh Arrieta:

And the scallops go perfectly with Trinh's bird-themed Hello Card.

Congratulations, ladies! Each of you has won either a one-year subscription to Paper Crafts magazine or the special issue of your choice. I’ll be contacting you tomorrow to discuss your prizes. If you’re interested in seeing all the projects from our Phone Book Challenge, please visit our online gallery HERE.

Happy Memorial Day!
Kelly
