Hello, friends! Today is a special day! It is fellow Go-to Gal Kim Kesti’s birthday!
Kim is an amazingly talented woman.
We lovingly refer to her as our “Go-to Gal Mom”…she keeps us on our toes and keeps us in line! And she’s good at it.
I’m guessing it has something to do with the fact that she has eight children. Yes, EIGHT! I know! I don’t know how she does it either! And if you ask her, she’ll humbly say…“Yeah, but they’re spread out.” or “Yeah, but this or that…” But I still say she’s one amazing woman!

Not only is she a talented paper crafter, she also loves to sew, decorate her home and make all kinds of cool stuff! Her blog inspires me every time I visit! You never know what she’s going to be up to next…like the fun quilts she creates, the adorable t-shirts (that I probably would have spent $30 a piece for at The Loft…and she made for like 6 bucks!) and her colorful home décor projects. See, I told you she was amazingly talented!
When it comes to paper crafting, you can always count on Kim to make the coolest stuff out of the most basic supplies. She often makes cards using nothing more than cardstock and her endless imagination! So today, I channeled my inner Kim K and made a card in her fun and cute style. My card is all cardstock and no patterned paper…and you know it was hard for me to back away from the patterned paper!

I made some fun cardstock flowers because it seemed like something Kim would do…she has lots of projects on her blog using handmade flowers. I topped each one off with a funky embellishment…because, well….Kim is a funky kind of girl! And, of course, there are the bright colors. You KNOW she loves bright colors!

So won’t you help me in wishing Kim a very happy birthday? Leave a comment with some birthday love…or try your hand at creating a Kim-inspired card of your own! Be sure to link us up here if you do!
Celebrating Kim,

P.S. The other Go-to Gals are helping me celebrate Kim, too! Be sure to visit Jessica, Kim H, Teri and Maren’s blogs to see their Kim-inspired cards!

Oh how I love that totally adorable, flower card!
