Welcome to Magazine Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and found time to participate in our 12 Designers of Christmas Blog Hop. If you haven’t yet hopped your way through the blogosphere, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Holiday gift wrap never looked so good! Speaking of holidays, we have a very special one right around the corner…our fifth annual World Card Making Day!
If you haven’t already made plans for Saturday, Oct. 2, there’s no time like the present. Whether you get together with a group of friends, visit your local scrapbook store for a midnight crop, or stay home and get started on your own holiday cards, there’s no end to the crafty fun.
In addition to our 2010 World Card Making Day Card Contest, we have a fun photo contest going on right now. Since card making is an universal hobby, and we have so many readers from around the world, we want to hear from you! Find a place in YOUR city, town, or country and have your picture taken with your favorite issue of Paper Crafts. E-mail your images to Susan R. Opel (sopel@papercraftsmag.com) on or before Thursday, September 30. We hope to feature many of you in a fun photo collage on World Card Making Day!

I wish so bad that I was a subscriber and on this blog back in January when we went on our Safari in Africa – I would have sooooo taken a picture of me with your magazine in front of Mt Kilimanjaro or a giraffe. My hubby gave me the subscription to your mag for Christmas this year!
