Welcome to Freebie Friday! I’m told snow is heading our way next week…just in time for Turkey Day. And while I’ll be enjoying a fried variation in Texas, it will be fun to return to a winter wonderland. There’s nothing like a little snow to put me in the Christmas spirit!
Speaking of Christmas spirit, just last weekend, our card group met to swap holiday tags and make mini notebooks – perfect for recording those naughty and nice lists! We made larger versions last year after I was inspired by a holiday planner made by Miss Lisa Johnson. Click HERE for her step-by-step instructions for this fun project!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Tags designed by (from left to right): Brandy, Jennifer, Becky and Megan.

Tags designed by (from left to right): Andrew, Rox, Kelly and Brady.
After we swapped tags and gushed over Brandy’s little Coopster (who just got his first hair cut!), we sat down to work on our mini notebooks. They measure 3″ x 8″ and are the perfect size to drop in a purse as you head out shopping this season. Most of us went with the Christmas theme, but some saw the gift potential and made theirs more non-seasonal. The best part…they’re super easy and super quick! We had this project done in less than an hour (including breaks to gab, snack and gush over that cute baby).

Here's all of our fun mini notebooks!
Wanna make your own holiday tags and notebooks? I sent my card group peeps home with Crate Paper’s Snow Day collection. Sadly, only half of our members could join us, so I have extras to spare! Leave a comment telling me how you stay organized throughout the holidays. I’ll pick two winners to take home a Snow Day collection, a blank notebook and a set of 8 tags (shown above). All comments must be received by midnight (MDT) on Sunday, Nov. 21.

Two winners will take home this fun prize package (plus 8 tags)!
Happy Friday!
Kelly

I only use a legal pad and write everysingle thing down and flip through the pages like a mad woman to piece it all together . . . that is organized right! Thanks for the chance to win this adorable paper and TAGS!
Have a list to go by when making or buying gifts is an important part of my holiday planning. I know what I’ve spent and bought and it keeps my budget in check.
I stay organized by making lists.
The only way I can stay organized is to write down everything in my trusted little calender book with I made with extra pages to write down all my needed lists to get through the holidays!
I stay organized by having a list and checking them off as I go along.
Like others I make a list and mark off as I go.
Y’alls projects are adorable!
Lists, lists, and more lists. If it weren’t for my to-do lists and my gift lists that I faithfully mark off as completed, I wouldn’t be able to get everything I think I HAVE to do accomplished. Wish me luck.
I keep a small notebook in my purse to keep lists, record ideas, etc. I also have a spreadsheet on my computer for keeping track of gifts and spending.
Write it all down and check the list twice!
Snow day is so pretty love the colors and patterns.
I’m reading here for any tips I might pick up! I am not too organized myself…. and could use all the help I can get! I always have good intentions of starting early, and not waiting til the last minute. That’s the best tip I can share.

First, don’t overcommit yourself. Save time for downtime with the family and filling up with good memories. I also make a lot of lists and check them off one by one!
Oh wow! Such a cute giveaway! I stay organized by trying to prepare things early in the season and wrap presents as I buy them. I am another slave to list making too–If I did a bunch of stuff not on my list, I have to add it and check it off to make myself feel better. LOL! THanks for the chance to win!
Haven’t totally figured it out yet. Like to do one major shopping day and get it all done!
I made my very first Christmas planner this year!!!
I keep lists in my planner of what I’ve purchased for my kids and husband, including stocking stuffers, to keep me from overpurchasing in dollar amount or theme (I didn’t appreciate getting a whole load of panda stuff from my mom and practically nothing else just because I loved pandas.) I also have lists of who gets what size of photo of the kids from school and our Christmas family photos so it’s all ready for me to package up for Grandparents (we have 3 sets and 1 single since both sides got divorced) and Aunts and Uncles. Having everything written down is extremely helpful!
I get organized by “making a list and checking it twice”. Sounds familiar? =P
I love this Snow Day collection!
lists help me get through my daily life, and even more so during the holidays. I also try to keep stress-free by only looking towards the next celebration for food and stuff…and I keep it simple…holidays are about family and time together…not stuff!
List on my phone. Since I always have it, I don’t forget my list!
I use a daily planner all year long to categorize my tasks: work, home, school and misc tasks. It really helps. I also do Christmas shopping all year long so at Christmas time I can focus on decorating, wrapping and making cards — the fun stuff–instead of spending time standing in line out at the stores.
Sticky notes work for me!
I stay organized with endless lists on my iphone and all of my projects have their own basket on my studio desk with all supplies at the ready. Also by making sure that I am relaxed at all times! No stress allowed at Christmas!
Lists upon lists upon lists…It least keeps my insanity organized!
I have a christmas organizing binder that I use to plan everything – I have a section for recipes I make every year (cookies, appetizers for christmas eve, and thanksgiving dinner), a section to keep me organized for who I need to get gifts for and mark them off when I find something (gifts go into a gift closet until it’s time to wrap). I have a section for addresses for christmas cards which are started in August. I add any craft ideas I want to make for the next year. I also shop clearance all year to stock up my gift closet for teacher gifts or gifts for people I forget or don’t expect.
Lists, lists and more lists! Lists of gifts gotten and gifts to get. Lists of parties and events. I try to plan ahead. We are going out of town Saturday for almost a week so I addressed Christmas cards today. Have gifts almost ready to be mailed as well.
I love this giveaway…..that will be a LUCKY winner to get such an awesome package
I sure wish I had a tip for staying organized, but sadly I’m not. I do make a list in the beginning, but it usually gets lost along the way. I try to get things wrapped as soon as possible, but my hubby is the worst last minute shopper ever, so I’m always up til midnight on Christmas eve wrapping. Gotta love it!!
Lists and my calendar which is in my kitchen- it is our master brain for all activities. Cute cute tags & mini notebooks.
I keep a list of what I need to do and use a calendar for reminders of places to be
Adorable tags you’ve created and thanks for the chance to win them
hugs Nikki C
I use lots of lists and my calendar on my iPhone. I set alarms and reminders and try to stay sane. Thanks for the chance to win!
Lists, lists and more lists!

Yellow sticky notes – I have found that I cannot seem to keep only one notebook (your idea above looks good so perhaps I will have to make some) so I write stuff down of sticky notes and leave them at work, at home and in my purse. As I finish stuff it is crossed off or tossed.
I have to have my list. I am forget enough but during the holidays it is worse.
A small spiral notebook in my purse is the answer to my holiday organization. This notebook contains my holiday gift list, to do list, special recipes I find when not home and anything I think is important from mid-October until the first of the year. I save these sheets for a few years so I can better prepare for the upcoming year.
I’ve been cleaning constantly in the past few weeks to ensure I stay organized this holiday season!
