Tickets for paper crafting are cool. I’m really digging them right now. A whole lot, in fact. It seems like manufacturers of scrapbook supplies are, too.
Hero Arts and Papertrey Ink have ticket-themed stamp sets.
- This set from Hero Arts could make anyone’s day brighter.
- And Papertrey’s Just the Ticket set is just delightful.
Tickets are also making their way to us crafters in paper form, too.
- Tim Holtz has brought us these fine vintage-style tickets.
- And Pink Paislee has brought us these ones.
For some reason, I can’t resist wanting to say, “Yep. That’s the ticket.” I challenged myself the other day to cash in on this trend and make some cards with tickets. I used a whole bunch of tickets to make a background on this card. It reminds me of patterned paper.

I stamped a row of tickets on this card. It was fun to just let them hang off the edge of the card, rather than snipping off their edges.

I stamped these two tickets and clamped them together with mini clothespin. Then, I decorated the front one with a few gems.

Are you feeling like playing with some tickets?
I’ll pick one of you at random to receive this prize package with some Booville products with ticket shapes from Little Yellow Bicycle. You’ll also receive a small bundle of blank tickets from my personal stash. All comments must be received by midnight (MST) on Thursday, Nov. 11. Let’s hear it for tickets!

One lucky winner will take home these goodies!

I’ve never used tickets, but I’d love to give it a try!
Your first card today is my fave. Love the ticket background!
The only card I’ve made with a ticket on it was for my hubby. He had been working on a big project at work for over a year, so on his big ‘go live day’ I made him a card that said “your ticket to success”. I used a Tim Holtz ticket. It’s kind of nice to still see it sitting up in his office when I visit him at work.
I like the tickets, in fact I used several when creating a design for something I called a “Scrapbook on a Stick” to celebrate our state fair using the Up, Up, and Away Collection from Kaiser Crafts…but like all things I enjoy in scrapping I try to not over use it.
i have a huge roll of yellow ones just waiting to be used! thanks for this inspiration!
Great cards! I love tickets too….just don’t have all than many on hand right now to choose from, so I’d be thrilled to win these! Thanks for the chance
I love these tickets! The projects are so cool! What a great embellishment!
Wow, what great tickets. I haven’t used tickets before, but that’s only because I haven’t had any. I’m thinking I’d like to buy a whole roll from Staples. Provided they aren’t too expensive. Then I would always have a ticket when I want one. I’m off to check out your blog.
Thanks, Jess
I love tickets, too! I was so excited when Papertrey Ink put out their “Just the Ticket” set & die. I love what you did – creating the background paper with tickets!! Love, love, love it!

I am LOVING that first card-just beautiful!!!
I just bought a whole roll of tickets at a yard sale, thinking “I bet I can do something fun with these.” Thanks for all the great ideas!
Love the cards and I’ve always had a strange obssession with tickets and have collected them for years (even when the kids would win them at the carnivals and Chuckie Cheese I would always stash a few when they weren’t looking, LOL!) Thanks for the goodies and sharing your stash!
What a great giveaway! I love your ticket cards. Thanks for the chance to win.

The number tickets remind me of raffles that I have participated in the past. You used to find rolls of these tickets in the office products department of stores. I have not seen them lately, I guess most raffles are done by the computer nowdays.
Yay for tickets! Love them on cards and layouts. Thanks for the chance to win!
You did a great job on the cards – sooooo cute!! Love the ticket embellishments! Who isn’t going to concerts or events to tie these into something!!!
I never used a tickets on a project before. I love the Love card you made.
