Welcome to Freebie Friday! Today is not only Christmas Eve, but it’s also the birthday of a very special girl gal…our Go-to Gal Teri Anderson!
While today tends to be a day of scurry, hurry and worry, I thought we could take a few minutes to pay tribute to Miss Teri, who is not only uber talented (her impressive resume includes stints as a newspaper reporter and a movie extra!), but she’s also uber humble, kind, loyal and funny as all get out (I wish I could repeat some of things that have come out of her mouth). But more than anything, I feel privileged to call Teri my friend.
In a nutshell, Teri is so very…COOL!

Paper Crafts Go-to Gal Teri Anderson
Since Teri means a lot of things to a lot of people, I’ve asked a few of my crafty friends to tell me what they love/admire/appreciate about her:
Maren Benedict: Teri is 100% genuine with everyone, always there as a friend, endlessly creative and full of laughter and determination. She’s a beautiful soul…people walk away from Teri happier than they came. I truly love that gal!
Kim Hughes: crazy cool + tremendously talented + absolutely adored + so silly + fabulous friend = Teri
Kim Kesti: Teri…huge talent, tiny voice, loyal, a great friend, a champion for the underdog, full of hidden talent, has a great story to tell.
Betsy Veldman: Teri…oh, where does one begin? She has to be one of the most clever, crafty people I know. She comes up with the coolest techniques, has a fabulous eye for color, and then pulls it all together in her classic clean style. And she’s funny to boot. Bacon anyone?
Jessica Witty: Teri is deceptively innocent…behind those kind eyes, sweet spirit and ever encouraging nature is a zinger just waiting to bring tears of laughter to your eyes! Teri, you are a master of the well spoken word and well crafted card, but above all else…a true friend.
Jennifer Schaerer: I love that Teri is so quiet and unassuming until ZING!…she drops the funniest comment in the middle of a dinner conversation that leaves us all in stitches!
Susan R. Opel: I puffy {heart} Teri! She’s a fabulous designer, super tour guide (when I visited Seattle) and a witty, funny friend. Happy birthday, Teri!
And just in case you’ve been under a rock and need a reminder about how crazy talented she is, here’s a few of my favorite Teri Anderson projects:

This Hello Card (January/February 2009) is probably my all-time favorite. As a closet fussy cutter myself, this card is perfection to me.

I'm also a sucker for anything with google eyes. Seriously, could this Happy Cupcake Card (May/June 2009) be any cuter?

And an example of her wicked sense of humor...Too Much Christmas Card from Card Creations, Vol. 6.
Ready for today’s giveaway? In honor of Teri and this festive time of year, I’ve got three copies of Holiday Cards & More, Vol. 5 up for grabs. Leave a comment for our birthday girl and I’ll pick three winners to each take home an issue. All comments must be received by midnight (MST) on Sunday, Dec. 26.
Happy birthday, Teri!
