Have you HEARD?

Are you SO PSYCHED?

We’re going on a cruise, and we want you to come along for the ride!

If you’re like me, the idea of basking in the sun in exotic places like Cozumel & Grand Cayman is sounding mighty fine right about now. Add in a healthy dose of paper crafting with your favorite girlfriends, and The Paper Crafts Cruise is just what the doctor ordered!

After leaving port in Miami on Saturday, Nov. 5th, we’ll set sail for Cozumel {yeah, how ‘bout that?}, and as we glide across the water, there’ll be some fun paper crafting classes for you to take taught by yours truly, Editor Renae Curtz, and some of the Paper Crafts Go-to Gals. You’ll find details here about all our classes. We’ll be adding to this link as more details are nailed down, so click on the cruise button (on the side of the blog) for updates!

Once we get to port, you’ll be able to explore the area or stay aboard and work on cards and projects. It’s totally up to you. And since classes are only taught when we’re at sea, you won’t miss out on any fun as your explore Mexico, Belize, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman! {I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty much quivering with excitement!}

Posing with our cruise poster at CHA!

I’m not gonna lie, the day that Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Schaerer approached me about teaching on this cruise I thought to myself, “Could this job BE more awesome?” Yes, please! Sign me up! The teaching thing is nothing new, but I’ve never been on a cruise. The closest I ever came to a cruise was singing On The Good Ship Lollipop in a talent show when I was in Kindergarten and watching The Love Boat on Saturday nights when I was a kid. Oh, and I had a pretty cute sailor outfit in the early 70’s.

Born to be a sailor!

So what’re YOU waiting for? There’ll be workshops, prizes, goodies, sunshine, and adventure! There’s more information here and here (be sure to click “view additional details” for itinerary and pricing). Wouldn’t this be a great gift to yourself for being so awesome?

Better get myself a passport and a lot of sunscreen! Won’t you cruise with me?
Susan

Well, since I live in Miami (yes, you can kill me now), my favorite travel destination is the mountains of New Hampshire. We were up there a few weeks ago, enjoying the splendor of New England winter, with piles of snow that my boys couldn’t stay out of!! It is hard to find a good approximation to the clear mountain air and the bite of little snowflakes on your face down here in the tropics… :-)

  19. I WOULD LOVE TO TAKE MY BFF WENDY WITH ME ON THE CRUISE. SHE NEVER GETS TO GO ANYWHERE, AND WE WOULD HAVE SOOOO MUCH FUN DOING CRAFTS TOGETHER. IT WOULD BE OUR FIRST TIME ON A CRUISE SHIP. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE.

I’d have to say our trip to AL last Aug. It was special because we got to visit my husband’s mom. Our daughter missed her grammy so much. Lots of time in the pool and at the beach. Perfect for scrapping our trip.

I love Little Cayman. Nothing to do but snorkel, ride bikes and read books in the hammocks!!! so relaxing and out of this world!

  24. Karen Adair says:

I LOVE cruising and I LOVE paper crafting! This is like heaven on earth to do both at the same time! I have been on 3 scrapbook cruises where we did all types of paper crafts. Can’t wait for more information.

I have been pretty much everywhere in the Caribbean and my all-time fav is Cozumel. If you have never been, don’t miss the opportunity to discover this wonderful little island.

Friendliest people on the planet, beautiful scenery, great food, and lots to do. I have been there 5 times and would be living there now if I didn’t have 4 grandkids here! There is lots to do from adventurous to being on the beach. Water activities, shopping, horseback riding at the water’s edge, underwater activities (snorkel, glass bottom boat, submarine) swim with the dolphins or sting rays, visit ancient ruins, ride 4-wheelers, dance, set sail at sunset for a steak and lobster pirate dinner curise (I was crowned the “queen or the pirates” on my adventure!)…you name it, they’ve got it!!!!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Cayman and Rotan as well. …but Cozumel is the place for me!

  25. Sharon says:

My favorite cruise destination is definately Cozumel!!! Rent a scooter for the day and find some great shopping bargains. Then a stop at Carlos and Charlies or Senoir Frogs (whichever is having the bigger party) before heading back to the ship.

  26. Jenn Post says:

generally my fav destinations are warm and sunny with sandy beaches, but I must say, I am super psyched for my trip to italy for my 10th wedding anniversary in two years!!!!

  27. I like to visit anywhere my grandchildren are! My SIL is in the military so they move quite a bit. I miss them a lot when they move around – but it does give me a new destination of choice.
