Today is the official on sale date for our highly anticipated special issue, 350 Cards & Gifts! It’s chock full of so many different ways (368 to be exact) to share your creativity with your family and friends. And I truly puffy heart it!
So what’s with this puffy heart business you might ask? It’s a phrase I’ve picked up as my way of saying I super duper like something intensely! I wasn’t the first to say it, though. My cute and crafty friend Kayla Aimee said it first, and I just latched on (like I tend to do). And if I like something even more, there are so many great adjectives that can be added to further increase my love! So like Paris Hilton’s “That’s Hot,” Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No,” and Fat Albert’s “Hey, Hey, Hey!” I’ve got a phrase that I love. And this issue is one of those places where it HAS to be used!

350 Cards & Gifts has card sets, gift cards, gift wrap, food wraps, home décor, and even gifts, all with a paper crafted flair, and you are gonna LOVE it! When the submissions started rolling in last October, there were two projects that made me particularly sparkly, scratch and sniff, puffy heart giddy, and I’d love to share them with you today.

So pretty! So fresh! So exquisitely done! Agnieszka Malyszek’s Pretty Pastel Card Set is deliciously divine! Dare I say I puffy heart it with cream cheese frosting on top? I’d love to get this sophisticated set as a gift.
Julie Campbell’s Popcorn Bucket (p. 108)
And the cute factor for this project is outta this world! Designer Julie Campbell’s Popcorn Bucket filled with microwave popcorn would be a great addition to a gift of a DVD. And take a look at those springy bits of popcorn coming out the top. Those were created with a flower stamp – soooo clever. I puffy heart it with extra butter and salt, for sure!
So I’m pretty sure that you will puffy heart this issue. And if you’re sick of the phrase already, you can join our Lone Design Man Matt Anderson who recently said that if he heard me say it one more time, he’d stab himself in the eye with a hot fork. Awww, Matt – you know you puffy heart me!

I’m so bad at it that my stick figures have humpbacks. With stamps, paper, embellishments, etc, the artwork is done for me and I can create to my (puffy) heart’s content.
