On top of fabulous dining, exotic destinations, and breathtaking ocean views, you’ll create unique projects and learn new techniques with Paper Crafts editors and still have time to explore the ports of Cozumel, Belize, Isla Roatan, and Grand Cayman.
If you haven’t already signed up for this delightful get-away, I’m here to entice you with some of the fun classes you can take while we venture around the Caribbean come November 5-12, 2011 on Carnival’s lovely lady Liberty! We’ve got eight great classes planned for participants and given the time of year, Christmas is definitely on our minds.
Jolliest of Holiday Wishes – Add that personal touch by creating and sending family and friends a hand-stamped holiday greeting card that is sure to wow and delight the recipient! Class participants will stamp 25 delightful greeting cards created using the latest and greatest product from manufacturers such as Cosmo Cricket and Unity Stamp Company.
All Wrapped up for the Holidays – Giving the perfect gift will be even more meaningful this year when wrapped in handmade and hand-stamped boxes and bags designed specifically for holiday gift-giving. Five beautifully designed bags and boxes can serve as a delightful holiday centerpiece, excellent hostess gift wrap, or party favor packaging.
Adding the Finishing Touch with Tags – You’ve wrapped the gift, tied the bow and now all that’s left is that stunning final touch, the tag! We’ll be creating a dozen wonderful tags that can be used on packages, as decoration for your tree, or can be used as an instant embellishment on a holiday card.
But it’s not JUST about Christmas. We’ll be basking in the sun, so it’s only fitting that we make pretty paper crafted stuff for the whole year through. We’ll be so relaxed and having a load of fun!
Colorful Congratulations Card Set – Participants will create five fun monochromatic congratulations cards (to keep or give as a gift) using the versatile Sophisticates By Stephanie collection from Bella Blvd. Each card is created based on sketches that will appear in Go-to Sketches for Card Makers - a special issue of Paper Crafts magazine.
Everybody Loves a Birthday Card Set – The It’s the Little Things collection from Fancy Pants will inspire a birthday card for everyone on your list! We’ll create five cards to give to a variety of celebrants in a classy & elegant style as seen in Card Style – a special issue of Paper Crafts magazine. Learn what makes a card a certain style and determine which style fits you best!
Many Thanks Card Set – Show how much you care with a thoughtful thank you card. In this class, you’ll create five lovely thank you cards using the wildly popular and ever so gorgeous Portrait collection from Crate Paper. Explore your shabby chic side and learn the freedom of creating cards from a sketch.
Bright & Cheery All Occasion Card Set – It may be November, but we’re soaking up the sun in this class using the cheery Summer Days collection from Echo Park. You’ll create five cards to brighten someone’s day just because. And get ready to rock your fun & cute style, cuz we’re on a cruise, right? And what’s more fun than that?
Banners and Boxes and Birthdays, Oh My! – Create a bright, fun and welcoming birthday banner using Cosmo Cricket’s Social Club collection and Fancy Pants chipboard pennants. You’ll also be creating eight treat boxes, eight thank you notes, and eight napkin rings for a total of 33 elements!

I would take the Many Thanks Card Set Class. I love Shabby Chic, but am not good at it plus I would like to learn more about creating cards from a sketch. This trip sounds tempting…….
Oh, to be soaking up the sun on a huge boat cruisin’ around the islands in November!!!! Alas, but only in my dreams, I fear! I think taking all of these great classes (especially the Holiday and Birthday classes) would be so much fun!! Not to mention hanging out all of you! But the wallet doesn’t have that much stretch to it so I’ll have to hear about it after the fact! Have a great time!
You ask what would be my favorite part. Well I would take in absolutely every moment. This would be a trip of a lifetime. Just think of all the creativity you could draw from with so many talented people in one place. I can only dream of cruising with Paper Crafts Magazine. This trip would be awesome to go on with my daughter. We love crafting together. So, I could not pick just one thing that would be my favorite, I would love the whole experience. I love making any type of cards.
… so, we still have snow on the ground here in Manitoba, Canada….ya think a cruise sounds great? However….seeing the All Wrapped Up Christmas goodies gets me thinking about Christmas again!

I am signed up and counting down the days (although I hate to wish the summer away!) I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and to the classes, of course!
My favorite project would be the Banners, Boxes, and Birthdays, Oh My! What fun!!! Hmmm….what would be my favorite part of the cruise? MEETING YOU!!! You are so cheerful, and such an inspiration – I would LOVE to meet you in person, and drool over your fabulous, colorful, sometimes zany wardrobe, hear your voice, and learn some crafing tips!!! You will have a wonderful time, and can’t wait to hear all about it!
Unfortunately I can’t come on the amazing cruise, but if I did I would most definitely sign up for the “Banners, Boxes, and Birthdays, Oh My!” class! Those projects looks delightfully fun to make!
Wish I could come, but have to take care of elderly mother. My favorite would be the Christmas cards.
First of all–a cruise in general would be super fun!! I can’t wait to go on our trip next year (first cruise ever!). Second–a cruise that involves crafting–EVEN BETTER! And what class wouldn’t I take??? If I could take all of these classes–I WOULD!! And the best part of going on the Cruisin’ & Craftin’ with PC would be meeting all my friends and YOU!!! I would have a blast!!!

Wow, they all sound great, but I think the Many Thanks class would be my number one favorite. First, I love the papers from Crate Paper. Second, I need to explore the shabby chic side, which I haven’t done any yet. And what sound interesting is creating cards from a sketch.. I can follow a sketch, but I need to go beyond that and add more or change it up.
I guess the best part of taking the cruise is the sunshine and all the excitement of being around others who share this love of crafting and cardmaking.
Love the birthday card set class!! I never have enough of those. My fave part of the cruise? Having absolutely NO “must do’s” in my day….only have “want to’s”!
Jolliest of Holiday Wishes gets my interest! Can’t ever seem to get those done near the holidays…. it just gets too busy! So making them any time is a great plan. And I love all the fun holiday images and colors too!

Wowzerz! That would be one amazing cruise! A dream, really. What more could a girl ask for? A beautiful cruise ship and Paper Crafts?!!! The All Wrapped Up Class sure looks great to me because I am always looking for new gift wrap ideas.
My fav is the Thank you cards class. I love the colours in the DP.
