OH, I just love the reaction my friends and family show when they open up an envelope with a handmade card! I love the joy and love that is shared when giving homemade cards/gifts!
I love making cards because it satisfies several needs: the need to always be busy, the need to step away from work, and the most importnat one – the need thank those people in my life that make me who I am. I find card making very theraputic.

i like to make cards for my mom so that she can send them to the many friends she has. i also like to make cards for me to send to my circle or friends and family. one other reason…hallmark just doesn’t get it for me.

Why do I like making cards?? Because I love when the person getting the card looks at me and smiles…instead of the back of the card to see the name Hallmark.
I love making cards because everyone seems so happy when I hand them an envelope. Last week a co-workers said–”your cards are a gift in themselves. I’ve kept every one you’ve given me.” That made my day!
