P. Kelly Smith

Welcome to Freebie Friday! How many of you get positively giddy over inking up a brand new stamp and applying it to a clean, blank canvas? Even if the outcome isn’t always perfect, the possibility of greatness is always there.

Speaking of giddy, how do you feel about 300 card ideas all in one issue? Beginning Monday, we’ll be spotlighting our latest publication, Stamp It! Cards, Vol. 8. And for the first time ever, this stamptastic issue is 164 pages!

Once again we’re partnering with trends editor Cath Edvalson and the Moxie Fab World blog. Between the two sites, we’ll be featuring some great stamped cards, hosting some fun challenges and giving away some fabulous prize packages.

OK, so I was out running errands and taking care of household stuff most of the weekend. No “me” time and no crafting. I was really jonesing for some crafty insipiration and decided to stop by my local bookstore to see if there were any new crafting magazines. Imagine my glee when I saw your new Cards magazine staring back at me from the shelf. I snatched that baby up and ran straight to the register to pay for it, knowing I would get to spend all evening perusing its many pages. Yeah! But then, the evening gets even better. I open your email and find out I can win something? From the girl who just stocked up on kraft card stock, here’s a big ole yippee! I would love, love, love to play with those stamps after checking out all the cool projects in your new publication. But, even if I don’t win, this evening will be so much fun as I dedicate some time to getting crafty ideas. Thanks to al the talented women who submitted and thanks to you for choosing them – I can’t wait to see what you all created. Nighty night…
