Real time vs. magazine time. That’s what we call the undulating vortex of confusion between what’s happening in the moment versus the issue we’re currently compiling. As of this week, we’re (finally!) enjoying sandals and the first signs of summer, yet the issue demanding all of our attention is the one we’re working on for November/December 2011.
And guess what we’re doing next Monday? Yep, you guessed it – jumping right into the heart of that crazy vortex to concept our January/February 2012 issue! In fact, we’ve also put together our schedule of special issues for 2012 and - ahem -if we do say so ourselves, we think there are some amazingly fresh new themes coming your way.
The good news about magazine time is that we’ve been living in THIS moment vicariously since last fall, so there are still a bunch of fun new issues for you to anticipate in the coming months without having to wait until 2012.
While you’ve been living your life in real time, we’ve been busy with…

Don't miss this new book from the editors of Paper Crafts magazine!
In Love With Paper Crafts, a 288-page book featuring the best of our content celebrating love in its many forms. It’s on sale in the next few weeks, so watch our online store for the big release.

Celebrate your favorite paper crafting holidays with this must-have new book!
The Big Book of Holiday Paper Crafts, another 288-page book featuring…yep, the best of our content celebrating your favorite holidays. From Christmas and Valentine’s Day to summertime picnics and the three other seasons of the year, it’s a book you won’t want to miss.
If you’ve been following our calls for submission, you know that we’re busy working on Holiday Cards & More, Volume 6 as well as a redux of A Card a Day - this time for 2012.
There are a few more (three to be exact – a book and two special issues) that have been hush-hush because they are issues we’ve never done before. Stay tuned for more to come, but for now I’ll just have to leave you with this little tease and ask you to trust me until later this fall. We’ll let you in on the new titles just as soon as we can.
And it’s never too late to let us know what you’d like to see in a special issue, or even a feature in an upcoming regular issue. Who knows? Maybe your idea will be added to the schedule!
Swirling in the vortex,
Jennifer
