I have fond memories of ice cream.
In grade school – okay fine, all the way through high school – we were allowed to have ice cream for breakfast on the last day of school. Can you imagine?! Ice cream, for breakfast?! It forever cemented the goodness of ice cream.
Fortunately, ice cream gets more than one day in the spotlight, earning the entire month of July as National Ice Cream Month. In celebration, I think we should all make a goal to eat ice cream every day for the rest of July, agree?
Luckily for our waistlines, we have some ice cream eye-candy to tide us over.
Check out Ashley Harris’s Too Cool Card from the July/August 2011 issue:

And Kim Hughes’s You Are Sweet Card from Card Creations, Vol. 9:

Leave a comment telling us your favorite ice cream, and we’ll pick two winners to receive this brand new stamp set, Sugar Rush, from Paper Smooches! All comments must be received by midnight (MDT) on Wednesday, July 6.

Personally I’m a sucker for Butter Pecan. Or Cookies and Cream. Or Rocky Road. Okay, really, who can pick just one?!

P.S. Try this recipe for low-fat ice cream made with bananas. As an ice cream connoisseur, I give this my thumbs up of approval!

I agree, let’s have ice cream every day! I decided to do something different and made spaghetti ice cream
I know it sounds strange, but it’s so cool and easy to make! I promise that at your next party everyone will scream for more spaghetti ice cream! http://www.cherylstyle.com/blog/2011/7/6/stay-cool-with-spaghetti-ice-cream.aspx
OMGoodness, that stamp set is tooooo cute!! I love it!! My fav ice cream is prob raspberry sherbet. If sherbet’s not allowed (
), then maybe maple walnut? Vanilla is always a classic.
