Welcome to Freebie Friday and our final day of Card Ideas Week! We hope you’ve enjoyed this sneak peek of our latest special issue, Card Ideas for Paper Crafters and have been inspired to play with sketches in a whole new way.
Today we’re hosting another fun blog hop featuring the Top 10 designers from Card Ideas for Paper Crafters!
This time around I challenged our 10 designers to create a new card using one of the 12 bonus sketches found on the last page of Card Ideas for Paper Crafters and on our web site HERE.
Since our designers interpret sketches differently, more than one of them may have picked the same sketch. This is where the versatility of sketches comes in! I can’t wait to see what they did with these 12 bonus sketches:
Ready to begin our exciting Bonus Sketch Blog Hop?
Here’s our 10 designers:
- Julia Stainton
- Teri Anderson
- Chan Vuong
- Lindsay Amrhein
- Kalyn Kepner
- Regina Mangum
- Angeline Yong
- Heidi Van Laar
- Kimberly Crawford
- Vanessa Menhorn
Who wants to play? Leave a comment on each designer’s blog and you’ll increase your chances of winning a copy of Card Ideas for Paper Crafters (each designer is giving away one!). Leave a comment here and you’ll be entered to win this fabulous sketch-lovin’ prize package (I’ve got three of them!):

Great hop; I really enjoyed it! My two favorite cards were Angeline’s and Vanessa’s, and Heidi’s sketchs were my favorite. It was nice to see multiple interpretations of the same sketch and to read what the sketch designer had in mind for uses.
love seeing how the sketches are interpreted- I think Angeline’s may be my fave!!
Thanks for the hop – love the great way these designers used the sketches to come up with some beautiful/fun/creative cards.
Love this fab giveaway. I never win at these, but one can dream. lol
These are amazing!!!!! Sketches are soooo inspirational!!!Thanks 4 sharing!
These are amazing…as far as traveling goes, with a sickly Mom and too tight of a budget, I had to have a “staycation” but used all aspects of the season to my advantage…from the rapidly changing colors to the many inches of rain and the beautiful sunsets and sunrises (when we were lucky enough), I had plenty to work with for inspiration. And come Sept. my getaway will be in the pumpkin patch/corn maze/apple orchard with many more inspirations for colors and patterns in my fall cards. Life is what u make it…even if it requires a backyard getaway!!!
What a terrific hop! I adore Angeline’s card – so cute and I love how the two halves of the heart come together on the towels! And Kalyn and Regina’s advice about using the sketches as inspiration rather than exact blueprint is good – makes using sketches even more easy and fun! Thanks so much for the chance to win!
I am totally inspired by what Regina and Vanessa did with Heidi sketch with the mutiple sized squares! I cannot wait to give it a try!
Thanks for a great hop! I love Regina’s thank you card! This hop was full of wonderful ideas and inspiration.
