Hello, friends!
This week marks a big milestone in the Campbell family. My youngest son is heading off to Kindergarten and we’re looking forward to a great school year!
I have to admit, I probably enjoy the back to school shopping much more than my kids do. I still love looking at all the pretty new notebooks, folders, and packages of fresh crayons that line store shelves.
For those of you who aren’t preparing for a new academic year, you can still get in the school spirit! Take a look at these fun creative ways to use chalkboards. I think they deserve a gold star for originality!

With as rambunctious as my son is, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to “brown-nose” the teacher just a bit with a First Day of School gift. This tin can be used later to hold pencils and other supplies on the teacher’s desk.

What great tags and labels! This is the first time I’ve seen chalkboard embellishments. Love them!!!
This looks like a trend I could actually follow. I like chalkboards and these products would be fun to experiment with.
I would love to try my hand at some of these chalkboard products. My daughter-in-law has a huge chalkboard in her kitchen from the Pottery Barn, and I just love it.
Chalkboards, what is more perfect than a back-to-school theme. I work in a school and all our teachers now use “white” boards. I do miss the old blackboards and erasers. Now i can catch up with the old days. Thanks!

What fun creative uses for chalkboard!
I love the chalkboard trend! I would love having a chalkboard on a wall in my house. Don’t know if I would actually use it in my paper crafting but others make it look cool.

the chalkboard embellies look fun!! I especially love the idea of the tags and banners: I can see them decorated with all kinds of colors of chalk: and you could give them with a box of chalks for the recipient to have fun with too!!

I really love the chalkboard ideas!! My kids/grandkids have all loved having a chalkboard (and a large one too) to write & draw on. Such creativity has been born, esp. with sidewalk chalk!! Chalkboard goodies in papercrafting is just a natural fit to me! Love these pieces by Canvas Corp.

OMG! I LOVE all of the inspiration for today!! How FABULOUS!! I have always DREAMED of a craft room with a WHOLE wall painted with chalk board paint so my kids (well actually ME) could write/color/draw/create right on the walls and not get into trouble or ruin anything!! SO thats exactly what I did!! I LOVE it and the kids have fun too!! THANKS for the chance to win and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

I have been searching the web as of late for chalkboard ideas and love the simplicity of them as labels for my jars in the pantry. I also just covered one of my pantry cupboard door panels with a vinyl chalkboard sheet to keep my weekly to do lists! I’m addicted!!
