Is it just me, or has Halloween slowly crept its creepy self upon us this year? One minute I’m relishing in the last few days of summer, and suddenly store shelves are stocked with Halloween goodies and spooky costumes!
I had lofty Halloween goals this year. A homemade costume that I would obviously start planning in July, completed by September, allowing the whole month of October for any final changes without any of the last minute costume craze…
Hmmm. Well that didn’t happen.
And now the official Halloween countdown has begun: 7 days. Seven days until ghouls and goblins will haunt your doorstep begging for candy and sweets. Seven days to finalize your Halloween costumes. (Or in my case, come up with a Halloween costume.) Seven days to get your Halloween neighbor gifts delivered.
Fortunately, our September/October issue is full of quick and easy Halloween cards and tags to stir the creativity cauldron! Tie these quick tags to a loaf of bread or a bag of goodies, and you’re good to go!

- Now for that last minute costume… unfortunately, you’re on your own! But leave a comment telling us what you plan to be for Halloween, and 4 lucky winners will win some sweet treats from the Trick or Treat collection by My Little Shoebox!

Comments must be received by Tuesday evening at 5 PM MDT!
Happy haunting!

I don’t think I’m dressing up this year for Halloween and I’m not sure how much we’ll go out since we’ll be out of town part of the weekend. But we do have a really cute lion outfit for my daughter to dress up in … her first Halloween!
First party I am going as Static Guard, by pinning clothes to a sweat shirtand pants. Second party I am going as a blooming idiot by pinning a rose covered vine to my sweat shirt and sweat pants.
I Love Lucy, of course!
very cute tags. tfs.

I am a witch for sure! thanks!
I’ll be answering the door to my first great-grand-daughter and the grandkids. Can’t wait to see what wild costumes my kids dream up for them! The tags will make their treats extra-special. Thanks for the ideas!
I won’t be dressing up this year, but my 6yr. old son is going 2 be Luigi from Super Mario Bros. & my 3yr. old son will be Thomas the Train, complete w/ Conductor’s hat & wooden train whistle~heehee! So excited 2 take pics & put n my mini album that I made! I’m n luv w/ this Halloween Collection from Little Shoebox! Thanx 4 the chance 2 win~prhmangel at gmail dot com
My husband and I went to a party last Sat. as couch potatoes. I wore pj’s, teddy bear slippers, fixed up some bed head and toted cell phone pillow and coffee mug. Comfiest night out I’ve had in a long time!
Ah! my unique costume is being myself as I happily give out treats with a smile and a ‘you’re welcome’.
Great information! I do love the way you have presented this particular issue.
Not sure what I will be but, since I was in an accident involving flames a week ago and my arms are still wrapped, I think perhaps a mummy would suit me best this year! Thanks for the chance to win!
I am going to be dressed in 1970′s style. Wearing a crochet Granny Square vest in white and greenish blue. I say vest -but it is the kind that you pull over your head!
I don’t plan to dress up, but if I hand out candy without my makeup on, I am sure I will scare the neighborhood kids!

I’m not dressing up this year, but my 7 year old is going as Pandora, complete with a Pandora’s box that she can open to release 7 evils from. She always dresses as a character from literature so she can use the same costume for book character day at school.
I am going to our church trunk or treat as a fork in the road!
Great tags, love the black and white ones. Thank you fo rsharing and a chance to win. Im going to be a witch, I dress up to hand out treats to the trick or treaters.
Oh Thank You for the fun prize, I just relized this year I need new halloween papers, lol! I’m not dressing up for Halloween since I live out in the country and the next neighbor is 2 miles down the road either way so I don’t think I’ll be doing much celebrating, lol! When I lived in the city I always dressed up tho! TFS
Sorry, no costume for me this year. Stay home to hand out treats but not worth dressing up because there aren’t many young children left in our neighborhood any more. Fun to see what the kids wear though ~ love that part of the holiday!
Not sure what I’m going to be for Halloween…maybe a kitten who has lost her mittens!
I am going to be a witch. Boring but scary and ugly.
I don’t think I will be dressing up this Halloween but I did enjoy all the tags. In fact I was very inspired by Jamie Hurley’s Haunted House tags. You can find them here if you would like to see them http://teresazuehls.blogspot.com/search/label/Tags.
No plans to dress up, but leave all the fun for my little one!
oh my heavens.. I just adore these tags.. so fun! hugs
My husband and I are going as mario and princess peach, one of our kids will be toad. The other kids want to do their own thing, so they will be a hamburger, and sonic the hedgehog. My thriteen year old will go as himself since he is too cool for a costume, no candy for him!
Gosh, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I have NO idea what I am going to dress up as on Halloween. I usually do an old woman routine, but may just have to go as my scary ol’ self.
Thanks for a chance to win some great paper. Boo to you!
Very cute tags. Can’t believe Halloween is only 7 days away! Thanks for the chance to win!
im going to go as a fat old grouchy paper crafter, who eats all the kids candy!
I am afraid that I have not dressed up for Halloween since eternity. It has been a long time since I was a kid. If I would dress up and I would probably dress up as a hippie.
I’m going to play the role of an old woman handing out Halloween candy–I’m not quite THAT old–but it seems my closet full of fun and crazy Halloween t-shirts aren’t “in” anymore! Love these tags and the paper is gorgeous!
I plan to be The Raven…. Be careful or you might be hearing, “Nevermore!” in your sleep.
Thanks for the chance to win. Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday.
I don’t know if I’m going to be anything other than the mom-shuttling-her-kids-to-and-fro this year…but if I am anything, I think I will borrow my mom’s sexy-ish witch costume!
I’m not dressing up this year because I’m moving soon.
I will be the old lady handing out candy (no costume) lol
don’t have any plan for Halloween, just a usual activity….making cards!
We live out of town – read that ‘middle of no where’ – and don’t get any trick-or-treaters so Halloween is pretty quiet around here. I get my giggles doing lots of fun Halloween cards and sending them to family and friends.
I will dress up as a witch to hand out candy! Nothing major going on. DD wants a Halloween party, but it is not happening because she told me last night. Maybe just some friends over.
I plan on dressing as a Pan Am stewardess! Using some of my paper supplies and fabric scraps to make the hat. Should be fun. Thanks for the chance to win.
So much fun! I just wear a halloween tee shirt and witches hat while I hand out the candy. I love reading all of the reponses. Too funny!
My family of 6 of us always picks a theme. I think we’re going to be the Peter Pan clan: with my husband as Captain Hook, me as Wendy, my daughter as Tinker Bell, my oldest son as Peter Pan, my middle son as the crocodile, and my youngest son as Mr. Smeed. Every year we scan the Goodwill or Salvation Army stores for great deals…they always have tons of costumes for cheap and I can dress my whole family for under $40. Love Halloween! Thanks for the ideas…love the tags!
I don’t dress up anymore — just go with the grandchildren and enjoy seeing the young one’s costumes!
I don’t know yet, I’m sooo far behind in my plans!! I love the tags, especially the one with the haunted house. Love the stamp, wonder whose it is? Thanks for a chance to win!!
I’m going to be the mom that had 8 kids. Wait. I am that without my own TV show!
I love all the tags in this issue!
Thank you for the chance to win.
Nice, adorable tags! Thanks for the chance to win!
I still haven’t figured that out yet and I really want to dress up this year!
This year I won’t be dressing up unfortunately. I’ll be staying home with a little one who is too small to go out. Oh well. It will be fun to see all the kids who show up at our door!
