If you’re anything like me, you’ve looked at a paper-crafted project and thought, “How on earth did she do that?!” Or during one of our creative recesses, I’ll see a tool and think, “Now what exactly is that for?”

Now what if I told you we had the cure for that? What if I told you that you could have an encyclopedia of not only all the tools available, but also all of the new and innovative ways to use them! And with step by step photos? Cool Tools for Paper Crafters is just that!

In this break through issue, not only do we have a wide variety of tool categories like die-cutting, embossing, punches, adhesives just to name a few, but we’ve also taken a closer look at common household items in a new paper-crafting twist! (Check out page 133.) And if that wasn’t enough, creative editor Susan Opel walks you through paper-crafting with a computer! (That one is on page 139.) If you’re just starting your tool collection, turn to page 150, where you’ll find your essential tool kit! And with all your new tools, you’ll need all sorts of storage ideas! (You can see those on page 154. These are my personal favorites!)

Next week, join us as we dive deeper into this issue! We’ll be talking with designers, and Go-To Gal Teri Anderson will be back with a special two-days Tooling Around with Teri series! But the fun doesn’t stop there! On Thursday, Susan will be showing you how to make the most of your computer, and on Friday we’ll be hosting a designer blog hop! With one of the most exciting prize packages to top things off! Here’s a sneak peek (Or two. Or three…) of the prize package…

Any guesses as to what they may be? And that’s just part of it! Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll see you next week! Oh, and try not to think about it all weekend. But we can’t blame you if you do!
