Well, happy Wednesday, y’all! I didn’t want the day to pass without acknowledging what a special day it is. I mean, Leap Day only comes once every four years! It’s a bonus day! Why not celebrate? Actually, February 29th is added to the calendar to account for the extra few hours each year that it takes for the earth to travel around the sun. Cool, huh? So after today, we’ll be all caught up until we have Leap Day once again in 2016.

My son was born on leap year 3 years ago, that was absolutely the best.
Spent the day with friends. I have some great friends!
The best thing to happen to me was spending time with my son, even though he was sick. We has some great quality time together. And I found my awesome white ink pad that had fallen behind some shelves. I was so excited, I actually made 2 projects with it.
The best thing that happened to me was that I had a little quiet time for reading.
Received fun pics of my nieces and nephews posing with moose in Alaska.
The best thing for me was going to bed after being at work all night, when you’re exhausted, it’s like heaven! Thanks for the chance to win!

The best part of leap year day…I finished all of my Easter cards! =)
Well I can’t really say that there was some real excitement for me on leap day. It was just another day for me. But my moms birthday is on the 1st so it does always remind me of her.
I got three packages in the mail!
My son learned that he was getting a job in June.
My dad go to come home from the hospital after having open heart surgery!! I am SO GREATFUL to have him home safe and sound and on the mend!! THANKS for the chance to win and have a FABULOUS LEAP WEEK!! =)
Ha! It didn’t snow here… it was a gorgeous sunny day in Alaska! Now that’s a day to celebrate!

My friend’s dear departed mother was a leap year baby. Not a leap year goes by that she doesn’t cross my mind. Beautiful woman.

It was awesome to celebrate her birthday actually on her birthday! It was great fun!
The best thing that happened to me on this leap day was that I get to spend it with my mom and my brother in Indonesia. I don’t get to see them often since I live in the States, so being able to be with them is simply precious.
My husband randomly suggested we go out for dinner and it was great!
I spent leap day with my sweet love. We dont see each other very much since he works every weekend, so we try to make the most of the time we have!!

I can’t remember anything special happening to me on leap day. But, I can tell you that I was supposed to be born on leap day! But instead I was born on March 7th =)
