Good morning and happy Thursday to all of you! I am thrilled to be guest blogging on Paper Crafts Connection today. Paper crafting in all forms is a passion of mine, and some of my favorite projects to create are party ensembles. You might even say that I’m a total party girl! So, I couldn’t be happier to be talking with you today about the newest release from the Paper Crafts team—Party Ensembles.
I was fortunate enough to have some of my projects appear in the Party Ensembles book, and let me tell you, if you don’t already have this gorgeous edition, you’re definitely going to want to run out and get one. No matter what celebration you’re planning for, you’ll find tons of beautifully illustrated project ideas for creating the perfect décor for any occasion. Need birthday ideas? Party Ensembles has projects for that! Need ideas for holidays and for a girls’ night in? Yep, you guessed it. Party Ensembles has project ideas for those too!
Being a mother to four daughters (and one son), I was super excited to have my Sweet 16 party ensemble included in this amazing book. I absolutely love the bright colors and the fun polka dot patterns in this ensemble.

Oh, and guess what? I wanted to create an additional piece just for you! Banners are a party must—and super fun to make. For this banner, I simply started with some tissue fringe that I purchased online from Shop Sweet Lulu. Then I just adhered punched and layered scalloped flowers, transparency banner pieces, ribbon, and rhinestones to the tissue fringe. Simple but cute!

And guess what else? We are giving away another copy of Party Ensembles! What do you have to do to enter to win this wonderful book? Comment below telling us what kind of parties you love to throw! Easy as pie. Now go comment! All comments must be received by Monday, March 5th at 5 pm MST. Now get yourself over to the Moxie Fab World blog for more Party Ensembles fun!
Happy Paper Crafting!
Joannie

Birthday parties are my fave parties to throw. Specifically birthday parties for my hubby and surprise parties if I can pull them off.
The parties we throw are usually for holidays or my daughter’s birthday
This book is looking simply amazing! SO many delightfully awesome artists sharing their brilliant ideas. It’s a MUST HAVE, and I’d LOVE to get my grubs on a copy. Thanks for the chance!
Blessings,
Karen
What an awesome book! I love to throw dinner parties! Usually with a theme. It would be great to dress up the table with some paper crafts!
Thanks for sharing your ideas….the book looks amazing with so many creative ideas! What a great excuse to throw a party!
Love your party ensemble, Joanie! And that banner is so pretty!! I love birthday parties the most – even if it’s not a surprise, there can still be a lot of surprises for the honoree. Thanks for the chance to win the magazine!
I love to throw all kinds of parties….birthdays, luau’s, Halloween….I haven’t thrown a party I haven’t liked!
Birthday parties are probably my favorite because they are so special. Also love Halloween decorations!
The parties have I have given are an open house for son’s grad from college, bridal and baby showers. I guess the showers would be my favs.
I have a rehearsal dinner coming up this summer and wonder if there is something for that in the publication.
We love to throw theme parties for regular group get-togethers. There is no special occasion so we make one. We’ve had everything from a Mexican Fiesta party to luau parties, but our hands-down favorite was a Pink Flamingo party. Everyone wore pink – even the men – we drank pink lemonade and ate pink iced things and won prizes with flamingo trivia. Loved that one and will do it again – hopefully with my own Flamingo Party Ensemble!
My favorite party to throw is a birthday party. Celebrating someone’s life is awesome!
Very cool! Love those vases! Neat ideas. Thanks for sharing.

Any day can be reason to celebrate! Your inspiration is beautiful, especially love the flowered garland!!
My favourite types of parties to throw are dinner parties, although I must say I have never been all out with such fabulous party ensembles as I see in this book! It certainly looks like the must have book of the year!

I love to throw a Christmas party.
I love to have family in for Easter and Christmas…this garland could so easily be adapted for either OR any occasion! I love it and could really use more inspiration for my get-togethers. Thanks for sharing.
The colors you chose are perfect! So bright and festive. It really gets me in the mood to party! If I win this book, there will be a BIG party at my house! Thanks for letting me enter!
Having a house warming with my lovely roommates (kitty cat included)! These would be of great use to really turn the party out. I just came from a trip to Portland, OR and the city was so beautifully inspirational with lush green everywhere — these colors match perfectly with my recent pallete interest.
LOVE throwing parties for my 3 kids. I think I have more fun then they do
