As I had not heard of World Circus Day, celebrating it would have difficult at best! However, Earth Day is one of my favorite “Days”. Each year I buy some annuals and start planting. Since we have sold our current home and not purchased another, I bought some plants for my neighbor instead. She was gone for a couple days & came home to the surprise!

  10. Susan S says:

I got to scrap all day Saturday and part of the day Sunday – love celebrating like that!

I love the elephant card – it is so….well, fun. The colors are great and I love the ear popping off the card. The “future” card is great too. I really like the twine ribbon. It is simple but dynamic.

  11. We are farmers so we are BUSY all year round taking care of the earth and the land!! We plant trees on out farm to help with wildlife habitat and also the air. We use the least amount of water possible to grow our crops due to water restriction!! I LOVE the planet we life on and want to take care of it for those to come in the future!! THANKS for the chance to win and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

  12. HawaiianLibrarian says:

I celebrated Earth Day by sorting recyclables. And I celebrated Circus Day by sigining up a group of magicians to perform for a library program. And I l-o-v-e these cards!

  13. Wanda R says:

I didn’t know there was a world circus day? Wow…learn something new each day. I didn’t partake in this year’s earth day celebrations as I was stuck working all day – but at work, we had a make-and-take for the kids – parents bought a reusable canvas bag and we had oodles of paints and such for kids to decorate their bags with…. I saw lots of kids leaving with some beautiful bags. I am trying to do my part this year though – I am growing my own veggies for the first time – lettuce, spinach, herbs, tomatoes, and strawberries. Thanks for the opportunity to win some fab earthy items. Love it!

  14. Ann in PA says:

I celebrate Earth Day everyday. I love nature and try to respect our plant as much as possible. I conserve water, recycle, plant flowers that attract butterflies, bees and provide seed for birds. I feed the birds and provide fresh water for them in the summer. I also plant a huge vegtable garden and provide shelter for the birds.

Taking a “play” break to check out one of my fav websites for some stress relief!

I also like the little touches such as the stitching and the pompom trim. Great card!

  39. Ratna Tjan says:

We were gathering at our parents’ house so that we only need to turn on 1 living room light instead of 3 houses of lights, and watching a video about enjoying your surroundings! it’s for our nephew actually, but pretty interesting, songs about butterflies. :)
