Good morning, lovely readers! Remember my Cute and Crafty Cubicle post? I appreciated all of your helpful ideas for what else I can do! I have also been pondering about what other things I could do with my cubicle to make it more fun.
The other day, I pinned a picture of a real pinboard on my Pinterest. It showed several different paper scraps and photos pinned in a nice collage on a wall, and I thought it would be ideal for my work space.
But I wanted to make it my own too, so I went to the store and bought some thumbtacks with the intention of covering them with leftover patterned paper from my zigzag wall so it would match.
It’s easy! All you need is a little Mod Podge! Just cut a little circle out of your patterned paper and brush some Mod Podge on the top of the thumbtack.
Then firmly press together for a minute or two until the Mod Podge sets. (I used the base of my palm so the paper would stick to the edges as well.) Next, file down the edges with an emery board. Lastly, brush some more Mod Podge on the top of the tack and let it dry.
Voilà! Matching tacks, and now I can make my pinboard.

I’ll be sharing more with you in the future, but that’s all I have for now! How would you like to win some patterned paper yourself? Comment below for your chance to win a random selection of patterned paper! All comments must be received by Wednesday, April 18th at 5 pm MDT.
Thanks for checking in, and have a great day!

Random paper sounds good to me… I just bought some Mod Podge—I need to try it out.
There are so many things that can be made with Mod Podge, it’s amazing. I used some at the CHA, and have made a couple of things at home, but would like to learn more about it.

Ohhh what a great idea, they look fab! TFS!
Did you know you can also use embossing powder on the heads of the thumb tacks. Before using the heat gun, you need to stick those tacks into a cork surface to you don’t burn your fingers. When it’s cool, you can use Modge Podge to seal it, too.
