My favorite memory was of my son Beckett giving a card that we had put a voice recorder in so that when his grandma opened it Beckett was singing Happy Birthday!! She was SO HAPPY and the look on Beckett’s face was priceless he was SO EXCITED that she LOVED it!! THen she placed it on her SPECIAL Table and she told me that everyday she walked by it and had to open it just to hear him sing to her!!
THANKS for the chance to win and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
My favorite card making memory was of the 1st card I ever made. It was an anniversary card for my hubby. I love the look on his face, he loved it and he still has it. When I look at it now, wow was it ugly, but my hubby loved it because I made it for him.
My favorite memories has been my niece saying she keeps every one of the cards I make her. It makes cardmaking even more fun!
I did not know there were glitter card bases. I like that!
Wow! Great prize! Thanks for the chance to win! One of my favorite card-making memories was when I made my cousin’s card for her bridal shower. Her mom knew I made the card and asked to see it. My VERY opinionated – and usually negative! – great aunt was sitting next to my aunt and said, “Wow! Amy made THAT?!? I should order some! I’d pay five bucks for those!” Wow, she actually had something nice to say! I must be getting pretty good at it now! Lol!
Two of my sisters, my niece, and myself would go to a store 60 miles away (we live in a small town) when they would have make and takes. Great cards and great times! I lost one sister to cancer in ’08 and the store closed in ’09. Sure miss my sister and the fun times we had making cards.
My favorite card making memory-seeing people’s faces when they open a handmade card and appreciate it!
I made some cards for a gift exchange and you could take another person’s gift–and someone whose opinion I value wanted the cards I made and “stole” them from someone else!
my dad has kept every handmade card that i have given him over the past several years! they are all displayed on a shelf for everyone to see!
My favorite card making memory just happened this Mother’s Day. My daughter also makes cards and she of course made my Mother’s Day card (she is good) it was really a great card, I also made a Mother’s Day card for my Mom and my daughter said “Wow you win, the one you made it much better than mine”, to me that was such a great compliment, coming from a girl the loves to make cards, card stock projects and scrapbooking and always gets really great feedback from everyone she gives anything too! I guess I got the hang of it now
My favorite memory is my 90 year old aunt who lives in a nursing home. I send her cards for every and any occasion. She kept them in a box until one bright day she called for the handyman at the nursing home. She gave him a list of things to buy and dimensions to make a board to hang her cards on. They are displayed in her room and anyone who visits her is required to look at them. That makes my heart so happy.
My favorite card memory was – when i shared my card making “toys” with my church youth, and looking at them made their card with full of their heart (but stress – as they know those are previous tools) and they just did so well in the workshop =)
I’m made cards for my family specially for my two sons. My favorite card making memory was my first card for my sons. My older son is 27 so the card has 27 years and has a Mickey Mouse as a theme. My younger son is 24 and his card has 24 years and has clowns as a theme. I remember using a paper napkins of Mickey Mouse and for the clown card I copy a clown of a coloring book.
Sadly those cards are in boxes in Puerto Rico. Some day I will go and bring all my boxes (I have 3 bins of crafts materials) to Miami, were I live for the pass couple of months.
Thanks for the opportunity of win. Great giveaway
My favorite memory is the very first card that I made for a friend’s bday. She was amazed and floored that I made it and you know what…so was I. It felt so good to have someone receive something that I made! And it looked ten times better than the store bought cards that she received.
So far, probably in a class I took when I first started stamping. It was just me and the teacher and another girl and we laughed and laughed! Wow, that is a lot of card bases and envelopes! Thanks for sharing!

One of my favourite card making memories is making the wedding invitations for my friend. She got lots of compliments on them and when I gave them to her they made her cry! LOL.
I loved the Mother’s day card my daughter made this year…it was very special, with her special artwork and a really great sentiment. She has got talent I tell ya.
My favorite memory is making my cousin’s wedding invites and everyone wondering where she bought those beautiful invites!
My favorite card memory is being asked to make patriotic cards for guests to sign at a 50th birthday party for a very military based guy! I made 150 cards that the guests signed and we donated to Operation Write Home! Would love to win these to make cards for Cards For Kids and OWH too! Thanks!
My favorite memory is when I had created a card for my 3 year old daughter…I had no supplies that time, it was just some colored paper and pencil colors…I drew flowers and a bird….and she said mama this is cho tweet in her baby voice. It makes me smile even today and this happened 12 years ago…lol.
Thanks for the opportunity to win those awesome card bases. I love making cards and enjoy the creativity aspect. One of my most meaningful card ideas was for the “card club” at our local scrap store. I used an older idea I had seen and “embellished” on it. I needed to punch 23 ovals for each sunflower and as I started making the cards, I thought–’What have I got myself in to?’ I had to make 20 or so cards—so I punched 450 ovals!!!!! besides chalking, gluing, etc. It was all totally worth it when my friends and fellow “club” cardmakers all liked mine the best. It really meant a lot to me.
My favorite memory is the time I attended a scrapbooking event with some friends. They scrapbooked, I made cards. Didn’t get nearly as many done as I’d hoped because I did too much talking! LOL
My favorite memory would be the time I just decided to “try” making Christmas cards for that year….absolutely LOVED it and have been making cards ever since….loving it more and more each day…oh…and I especially like hearing the positive comments!!!!
One of my happiest card making memories was the year I had all of my Christmas cards done before Labor Day…what fun summer that was making Christmas cards in July!!!
My favorite memory would have to be my first time. I went to a home demonstration with my sister. I fell head over heels in love with all the products and have been hooked ever since! “0)
I loved helping our kids make cards for family members when they were small. It was happy, messy fun!
My fave memory is when i attended a blind card swap. We all made three cards to swap and put them in a large box when no one was looking. After everyone had done that the hostess put them all on display while we all made projects together. at the end we drew numbers to see which cards we would go home with. I am very shy about sharing my work and was so surprised to hear lots of people rooting for my cards to be their number. It was a really special memory for me and also helped me to have more confidence in my creativity.
I love these DCWV card sets! i often buy them to have matching envelopes and make cards sets to give away as gifts.
These envelopes would be great for our Summer Adult Crafts sessions at the library on Fridays in July. We could make cards and decorate the envelopes to match. Mahalo for the op to win.
My fav memory was when I made my first card and my cousin ask “where did I buy this card at”.. it was so pretty she said and I knew I was on to something
Making cards for valentines day with my 4 year old daughter this year was a trip! There is not enough glitter in the world for her!
I could really use these and I love the quality of dcwv! My fave card making memory is giving boxes of assorted cards to my mom for mother’s day. I love to find out who her recipients are….
My favorite card memories were making cards w/ my mother who passed away 5 yrs ago. We had such great times creating! thanks!
My favorite card memory? Introducing a church group to card making when we made cards for soldiers! Win-win!
I used to make Vantentine cards for my college roommates, it was fun to see them displayed all over the house
My greatest memory of card making was making a card for a woman in Georgia. I sent my girlfriend a card for mother’s day and she took the card to work. Her co-worker told her, “That card is beautiful, I have to have it for my grandmother’s 70th birthday. Can you ask you girlfriend to make me the same exact card and I’ll send her $. I will pay $20 for it.” That sounded great and I knew that my work was good and appreciated. I made the card and it was a huge success. I would love to win the card bases and it would make my workload so much easier. Thanks for the chance to compete for a great prize.
My favorite card making was during last Christmas season when my friend came over to keep me company during one of my infusions. She had never made cards before and all she kept saying was I can’t do it, I just can’t. It’s too hard and I kept saying yes you can. I put some Christmas music on, set up all the supplies and we got started. There we sat singing Christmas songs, and I watched her go from I can’t to….look what I made, I did it, I did it, she was liked a child. She was so proud of all the cards she made that when she can, she comes over to help me pass the time while having my infusion and we make cards. We will never forget that day, what a great memory. Thank you for a chance to win and sharing my story which I hope you enjoyed, Linda
My favorite is the first card party I hosted, my kiddos were asleep and the gals crafting got a bit loud. My lil girl was 4 at the time and heard us, came down stairs to ask if she could craft and make cards too. Of course I let her, and she made me a cute moms day card with the help of the demonstrator. But this event also inspired my girl to start crafting and scrapping with me, she has been going strong ever since! So happy!
My favorite card making memory is being published in The Angel Company’s annual catalogue! Wow was that awesome!!
My favorite card making memory was when I published my first card on my blog. It was so scary to hit “publish” that very first time!
