It may still be May, but Father’s Day is coming soon, and the last thing I want is for it to catch you unawares! Don’t forget to make a card for dad! After all, what would we do without our fathers, grandfathers, or other father figures?
I’m glad we have a holiday for our dads so they can finally get the appreciation they deserve!
So I’m going to show you a few dad-appropriate cards to hopefully inspire you in your own creations for Father’s Day (which is June 17th by the way).
First, we have this fun Father’s Day card by Sarah J. Moerman.
This card appears in our stamping techniques column in the May/June issue. Want a few heat embossing tips? Check out the column in this issue!
Second, this card by Betsy Veldman!
This card was the feature opener for our Designer Challenge: Feminine & Masculine Using the Same Product feature. Supplies and instructions can be found on our website or by clicking here.
Third, we have this Punny Dad Tag Trio by Jocelyn Olson.
They’re simple and funny! What dad wouldn’t appreciate these? Supplies and instructions can also be found on our website or by clicking here.
So tell me, what makes your dad special? I’ll tell you a little about mine! My dad is a good man. He works hard, he’s a great storyteller, surprisingly good at ping pong, a handyman, a train enthusiast, and a great person to go to for sound advice.
Leave me a comment about your old man and one of you will win this new collection—Family Man by Echo Park Paper Co. With icons like tools, ties, a grill, fish, a motorcycle, and even bacon, you’re sure to find something perfect for your own dad!
All comments must be received by Monday, June 4th at 5 pm MDT.
Thanks for checking in!
