So, as you’ve heard, Card Creations, Volume 10 has now been on sale for a full day. How many of you already have it? Yes, its one of those issues that I love to run out and buy the first day that it goes on sale.
It is by far my favorite special issue of the year. As a card maker, you just can’t beat looking at drooling over 164 pages of the most inspiring cards made this year. You’ll find cards to suit not only your favorite style but also all of the occasions that we card makers love most!
I can always find great inspiration within its pages! And to think that we’re celebrating its 10th issue—well, that makes it doubly special!
I’m excited to share a project that I created for this issue!

As a classy and elegant gal, I’m particularly fond of it because it incorporates a few of my favorite things—pearls, elegant embossing, and a polished bow.
Elegant cards not your style? Well, then check out these Mother’s Day cards. (You didn’t forget Mother’s Day is Sunday, right?) First up, Kim Hughes’ fun and cute “Birdie Mom” card on page 115.

This is one super sweet card with its white polka dots on that happy red-colored paper and the whimsical bird shape and darling sentiment.

All the cards are nice, but the bird one is right up my alley! That’s why a magazine with such a wide variety of styles is so nice…. all can be admired and appreciated but you can spend your time on the ones that speak to you.

I had a dress like that way back when! Ok, so it was way, way, way back. Does that make me vintage I wonder??? Mine had a cream color sash, not nearly as dashing as Beth’s red one.
