The Moxie Fabs column in the May/June issue of Paper Crafts magazine *focuses* on trendy spectacles. There are five fun projects that incorporate this retro icon, but there are also three additional projects throughout the issue that call attention to spectacles as well. Check it:
The repetition in the background patterned paper in this Father's Day card by Chunyuan Wu on p. 76 is fun-tastic!
From p. 29 of the Go-to Sketches column, this card by Els Brige not only features patterned paper with glasses on it, but an actual pair of glasses as well!
One of my favorite cards from the issue, this Father's Day Card by Erin Lincoln found on page 79 uses a glasses die cut. I just love the way they're hanging from Dad's pocket, as they might in real life.
It’s pretty cool that there are three such stellar cards that use spectacles in such creative ways in addition to those found in the Moxie Fabs column, don’t you think? It just goes to show you that trends can be fun and inspiring, and you can always find them throughout the pages of Paper Crafts magazine!

I love, love, love these! I just bought some spectacle stamps just because they were so appealing to me. I had no idea I was “on trend.” I saw the thumbnail of the top card on Facebook and had to click over to see what I thought was texture on the upper half of the card. Holy cow! It’s lots of little spectacles! So cool.
Love the die cut in the pocket card, great idea for Father’s Day!

These are too cute. I would love to have the glasses paper. I don’t have any fathers, but I do have 2 sons who are Fathers. Thanks for the chuckle.
I’d like to get a glasses die (to be used with my big shot) but am having no luck searching one out… Tips on where I could get one are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
