Happy Friday, everyone! I’m here to make your day even better by offering up a special mystery box. I’ve got a box here full of various prizes that we’re going to give away!
Do you like stamps, paper, and stickers? I’ll bet you do! I’ve got a box full of those things and more here waiting for a proud new owner, but you won’t know what’s in it unless you win it!
There is a catch this month, though! Last Friday was Limerick Day. Unfortunately, we were so busy celebrating Card Creations 10 that I didn’t get a chance to mention it, but man, do I love a great limerick.
Leave me a limerick and you will be entered for a chance to win this awesome mystery box full of card-making paper-crafting goodies!
Its groovy retro colors are calling out to you! Not sure what a limerick is or how to write one? Click here.
All limericks must be received by Tuesday, May 22nd at 5 pm MDT to be considered, and winners will be chosen randomly.
Thanks for checking in, and have a great weekend!

There once was a girl called Lynne
And crafting it made her grin
She went shopping one day
With her visa wha-hey
But now the bill has made her face quite grim!
mystery box, i want cha
if it’s up to me, i’ll catch ya
my stash will grow
without spending my dough
send you to me, and i’ll get cha
A winner I never have been
To win would sure be a grin
I’m grateful for the chance
if I won I would dance
and jump and shout and spin.
Oh what a colorful box it is
With goodies a lot for me it is
I can see my name
As a winner fame
And what big smile from little miss
There once was a girl name Jenny,
who had nary a penny,
she wanted to win
she said with a grin
but the luck, she didn’t have any.
There is the 3 letter, alternate word for donkey in mine but I promise, it’s not a dirty poem!
There once was a maid from Madras
Who possessed a magnificent a**.
Neither round or pink,
As some might think,
It was gray, had long ears and ate grass.
—Thank you, R. Avakian
A crafty fan from Victoria
regarded her work as a failure:
her verses were fine
until the fourth line
?
There once was a lady named Holly.
Her blog posts were really quite jolly.
She’s giving away
A box for this May
She’s really as sweet as a dolly.
I love all things paper and crafty,
Even though my workroom is drafty.
In spite of the damp
I do like to stamp
While nibbling on salt water taffy!
A Mystery Box of Paper Crafts stuff
sure would be my honor to have all there fluff?
For a chance at the box what is the gimmick?
Oh! I must come up with this little limerick.
Hope it is a lucky limerick at that!!!
How fun this should be
A limerick you must see
In order to win
This box of crafty goodness
This was my best~okay I admit “it’s a bit of a mess”!
PS: My very first limerick, can ya tell?
mystery box, I would love to have
mystery box, such a good grab
mystery box, I wonder what’s inside
mystery box, you can’t hide…
There was a book lady from HI
Who thought she’d give it a try
To add to her stuff,
‘Tis never enough,
Although her stash is sky-high!
Paper Crafts Magazine Rocks
They’re giving away a mystery box
I hope that I win it
to see what is in it
I know it would knock of my socks!
While surfing on Facebook,
I came ‘cross your mystery hook,
I love a good giveaway,
and I’ll write this one rhyme,
in order to save me a dime!
There once was a proud paper crafter
Whose nails had grown like a raptor’s
She could pick up tiny bling
and it made her heart sing
She lived happily ever after
Oh the wonderful May box of mystery,
It’s contents, oh what could they be?
Maybe a tool -
that would be cool!
When choosing a winner, pick me!
A box full of crafty treasure,
Would certainly bring unending pleasure!
Some paper, ribbon and more
Would be so fun to explore,
And my grin would be too big to measure!
A mystery box to win in May
would surely make my day.
cause with new goodies I could play
and finish my cruise album today
so I could travel again far away.
It is May,
and I want to Say,
If I win this Mystery Pack…I have to say, You made my Day!!
Thanks for a chance to win.
There was a young girl who liked stamping
She liked it much better than camping
Once she got in the groove
She didn’t much move
Until both her hands started cramping
A crafter is having a birthday
and she likes to celebrate her way
If she wins this big box
It would knock off her socks
Woo Hoo, and I love it, she would say
A Mystery Box, truly indeed
A gifted surprise it most definitely will be
To one happy crafter
With the one winning factor
Paper Crafts, please let it be me!!
The tools of the trade are these,
paper, twine, ribbon and even some leaves!
Ladies who craft,
really aren’t daft,
’tis better than climbing up trees!
Oh my its a great mystery box,
I know everything in it just rocks!
I can’t wait another day,
For this great giveaway!
The clock is ticking – tick tock, tick tock!
Paper crafts is such a great blog,
It always clears my crafting fog,
I wish I had more time,
To work on this rhyme,
But I need to stop sitting like a log.
I’m a farm girl plain and able
Though I don’t always fit the label.
with a passion to create
that must often wait –
until the work is done
with the setting sun
the seeds I sew
do mostly grow
on paper or in the stable
There was once a girl from Waikerie
Who love all things “papery”
She tried to compete
For a prize so neat
For to win would end this happily
Oh Mystery box chuck full of fun stuff,
“I’m dying to know what’s in you!” I puff,
so come my way,
and we will play,
of paper-crafting goodies I can never have enough!
If craft supplies were an edible item
My urges, well, they’d be hard to fight ‘em
I’d grow ribbon hair and have button eyes
Dry embossed lips from eating embellishment pies
And big hobby blade teeth with which to bite ‘em!
(thanks for the few minutes of zen from my crazy day to do this!)
A beautiful box I see,
it’s contents a mystery
embellies or brads
or stickers or pads
who cares if it just goes to me!
I sure would love me a box
It would make me feel like a fox
To be a winner oh so sly
I think I could die
Cuz lately it’s been lots of hard knocks.
Punches and stickers oh my!
Would love to be a winner oh my!
Please pick me as the limerick Queen
As already I’m a Stickles Queen
There was a young lady from Caracas
who plied mind on cards with whimsy and sass,
with paper and ruler
no cards could be cooler
than those made by that dear crafty young lass.
Oh, please, Paper Crafts, draw my mystery box limerick.
OMG, just knowing it’s possible makes me hysteric.
Contemplating the treasure trove inside,
Makes it hard for my excitement to hide.
Send me, my friends, that box with decorations geometric!
Papercrafts Connection is great
Their fun prizes make me salivate
The gals are so fun
They’re all number one
They give crafts away by the crate!
We once had a dog who roved all over
He ran to play with kids all over
D.O.G. was usually gone
He come home when supper was on
