As many of you may already know from past posts, I am a bit of a geek.
Specifically, a Star Wars geek.
I belong to a Star Wars costuming club (The Mandalorian Mercs), I have a ‘starship’ full of toys and action figures, not to mention other collectibles like hats, t-shirts, mugs, trading cards, etc., AND, I design some fun Star Wars-y T-shirts. (Click here to check out my designs!)
Yes, I know, it’s more of an addiction than a hobby, really.
Me at SLC Nerd. SLC Nerd is a community festival event celebrating all that is geeky and nerdy in Utah.

But, I just wanted to stop in and post that today is a very special day. Yes, today, May 4th, Is Star Wars Day. “May the 4th be with you!” (Get it?)
Typical festivities consist of inviting fellow Star Wars-obsessed friends to stay over, and then watching the series in succession. Lots of snacks, lightsabers and Star Wars-themed toys improve the atmosphere. Lightsaber fights in the early morning hours? Optional.

Darth Vadar for sure. What other character do u get to hate in the first movie and love the little guy in the 4th? Or wait, did I love him in the 1st and hate him in the 4th?

I have to say, its a tie between R2 D2 for the good guys, or Boba Fett for the bad….
