One week ago we announced our Gallery Idol round one winners, and today I’m going to show you the results of round two!
Twenty crafty ladies uploaded their colorful creations but only 15 can continue on in the hopes of becoming the next Gallery Idol!
But before I announce the winners, I want to take a minute and thank our online community for embracing our top 20 finalists. I know each and every one of them appreciates your enthusiastic cheerleading from the sidelines. Thanks for the support!
And a big “job well done” to our top 20. Even if you didn’t make it on to the next round, we know you put a lot of effort into this competition, and everyone did something amazing!
I know there are 20 anxious women waiting to hear the outcome of this week’s voting, so let’s get on with it! It was a competitive race, but these 15 gals received the most votes in our rainbow-themed challenge.

Congratulations, top 15! You’ve won lots of colorful and fun goodies from Doodlebug Design, the Grunged Sunrays stamp from A Muse Studio, and a copy of Stamp It! Cards Vol. 9!
And now it’s time to announce the theme of round 3! If you have a copy of our May/June 2012 issue, you might want to flip open to page 57. We want to our 15 to do what submitters did for this feature—use one product in making both a masculine and feminine card! I’m excited to see what these fifteen ladies come up with! The deadline for submissions is Monday, June 11 at 9 am MDT. All cards must be posted to our gallery by this time.
Would you like to know what they’re playing for this round (other than the chance to continue on)? Winners of round 3 will win the Pebbles Sunny Side collection, a copy of Cool Tools for Paper Crafters, and a digital subscription to Paper Crafts magazine!
Voters, voting for round three will begin on Monday at noon, so make sure to check back with us then and cast your vote!

It was seriously hard for me to vote the first round…ALL 20 gals did such amazing jobs.
Yeah!!!! I am so happy, but I’m also feeling sad about the ladies who didn’t move forward. Everyone is so talented, I can’t believe I’m a part of it all! Thanks to everyone who voted in GI!
