Aren’t you just excited to peek into the pages of this new issue?

The bright colors on the cover just pull me in and make me want to see more. I consider it an honor to be published in the pages of any of the Stamp it! Cards special issues; for me it’s always the most difficult issue to get cards picked up for! There are just so many talented stampers out there! So, as you can imagine, I was ecstatic to find out that one of my cards was chosen for the cover this time around!
I was inspired to incorporate bits and pieces of all three of the cover cards into one brand new card. I pulled out the same Hero Arts stamp sets that were used on my cover card. Anita Recksiedler’s Trendy Tulips card inspired the layout for my basic card design as well as the color combo, the newsprint background, and the baker’s twine. The Honeycomb Thanks card by Karolyn Loncon on page 138 inspired me to incorporate hexagons.
I just love it when inspiration strikes and projects come together quickly like this card did! I just know each and every page of this new issue is as full of inspiration as the front cover.
How would you like to win the stamps I used on both my cover card and the card from today’s post? Just leave me a comment telling me which card from the cover caught your eye! I’ll choose one winner to take home these two stamp sets from Hero Arts!
All comments must be received by Friday, June 29th at 5 pm MDT.
Oh and make sure you check out what’s going on at the Moxie Fab World for Stamp It! Cards week!
Best wishes!

The Trendy Tulips card really sucked me in. I love flowers and the text behind the tulips really did me in!
Betsy, your gorgeous card caught my eye first because of the unusual and beautiful color scheme. A well deserved congratulations to you for having a card on the cover. Your work is always beautiful and this is no exception.
Love the colors of the folower card really adorable and I would be sooooo soooo happy to win thats HERO ARTS stamp cause I find that is so difficult to buy in a normal price here in Germany…if it is I must buy it in USA and to send it here in Germany would be so expensive too
I love this Blog too….
The Thinking of You card really caught my eye. It is so unique! I like how the pattern starts at the top and moves down the card, very pretty!
