As Windy let you know yesterday, it was the first day of Summer! I don’t know about you, but I think summer is my favorite season. I love the heat, going swimming, playing outside, and summer vacations of course. So I figure, it’s a time to celebrate!

I have been looking forward to spending a week teaching crafts at a girl scout day camp! It was last week and was terrific!
Sadly the 4th of July kind of marks the winding down of our summer as our kids go back to school the first week of August BUT I looked forward to seeing my daughter’s dance recital and it WAS BEAUTIFUL! I looked forward to my son being done with mouth surgery and that is one week behind us and he is recovering nicely….so now for the rest of the tiny bit of summer vacation left to me……I am going to ENJOY staying up LATE and sleeping in until 8am!!!! I am looking forward to taking a road trip up to Alberta. The drive will be beautiful and meeting up with old time friends at the end of the journey will be such a treat!
