Last week, my friends and I had a little bit of fun with some fireworks. I mean, what’s a Fourth of July without some sparkling, whistling fountains of lighted color? It’s an American tradition.
Actually, to be completely truthful, this year was the first year that I had ever lit any kind of fireworks. And if you were to ask my friends, they would tell you I took a little prodding at first.
But it was totally rad!
Of course we had a few sparklers to play with as well as some Pop Its!
A bunch of fountains were lit up, but we had a few super cool fireworks—my favorite being The Glitterator. Isn’t that an awesome name? We thought so. We kept saying it over and over in funny voices because, frankly, it’s fun to say.
No pictures, sorry, because as you already know, pictures never really do fireworks justice. We saved it for last, and let’s just say it was worth it.

Glad you had a awesome 4th! Our local celebrations were cancelled do to extreme heat and drought. Now we’ll have the big show on Sept 2nd!

I love “glitter”. My family often tells me that they can tell I have been playing with my “happy dust”. As we all know it goes everywhere and I am usually wearing some of it somewhere.

This is an awesome giveaway! We didn’t do our own fireworks this year. It’s too dry here but they are a blast when you can do them!

Looks like you really enjoyed those fireworks. I don’t mind them from afar. the loud noises bother me . Love those glittery crafting supplies. I don’t think they would be loud at all, do you? LOL!
I love glitter, but don’t use it as much as I should. (I am such a messy crafter and glitter…well I get it everywhere no matter how carefully I use it! In fact, I probably have glitter on my face just thinking about using glitter!)

We introduced our 3 year old granddaughter to sparklers on the 4th. She loved them! She would also love to play in Nana’s studio with some glittery goodness!
