Getting ready for school to start!
We are heading to Colorado next week to finish our August with some quality time with my son and daughter-in-law … sure do miss them, but it gives us a great reason to visit that amazing state!
The rest of August is all about harvesting the bounty of my garden– it’s a jungle in there!!!
I’m hoping to spend the rest of August trying to get through my to do list! Lots of projects and getting ready for school to do!
I need a mystery surprise!! My August is filled with back to school, football, dive team, playing chauffer, organizing my family,… yeah that is pretty much it.
trying to get all those things done that i thought i would before school starts!
I am moving my crafting space from a corner of a bedroom to the family room in the basement. Making a room to scrapbook and make cards and sew. Look forward to hearing what is in the mystery box!!!
I am spending the rest of August organizing my new house!
Scrapping, getting the kids ready for back to school, finishing the painting and what not of the oustide of the house, and hopefully a camping trip! I don’t think I have enough days left!!!
I just got home from a lovely weekend away to the mountains with my husband–pure relaxation and so much cooler! Back to heat and humility–and a full week of work!
We are officially back to school today. So school and a trip to Grandma and Grandpa’s house over Labor day!
I will be teaching my students all about crafts and math!
We’re back to school – so much of the day goes there – but then there are the quieter evenings and the lure of the craft room :0)!
I’ll be getting ready for my kiddos to start school.
Schools starts next Monday, quiet house for few hours
No plans here, just waiting for Fall to come and make this woman happy
Thanks for the chance to win!
Now that school is in session for my kids…….I will be getting crafty more! yay!

this month for the first time in 13 years my hubby will not be here
he is training away to be a police man so i am at home with my 2 special needs girls! my eldest thinks it will be like a big holiday away from dad! but he is away for 4 months so a long holiday…. we will all miss him but each weekend we will be making cards with my 2 girls to post to him sharing what we have done in the week and pictures of them too.!
We are moving to our new house by the end of the month, so the next two weeks will be sorting, packing and disassembling furniture for the move. It’s going to be a very busy two weeks for us!
Da hubby and I have three glorious work-free days set aside for the beach. I’m counting down…..
we just came back from Dc and going to Boston in a few weeks to take our son to college and then, crafting time begins again. :p
Finishing my August cards for all my friends and family. Starting to gather my fall supplies to be ready for September. Fall is just around the corner… I would love to add to my growing supplies.
I love a good mystery box! This week I’m going to be catching up on crafting, then teaching starts up again the next week. Should be fun!
I am a busy girl at the end of this month… I have several DT projects due, a blog hop in the beginning of September and Birthday party decorations for my nephews 1st birthday at the beginning of September, plus there is the parent preschool orientation meeting (first time preschool mommy! ahhh!), and packing for vacation that is fast approaching, oh my!
I am going to try to fit in one more family bike ride, one more trip to the zoo, and lots of back to school shopping in what is left of the month of August.
It’s the last week before the kids go back to school, so for the week we plan to go to the movies, mini golf, out to lunch, water park, and the traditional end of summer ice cream!
We have big plans for the rest of August since the kids go back to school (and I go back to work) in September. We are going to do day trips to the beach and Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty in New York; we are going to paint the bedroom my pre-teen daughters share; we are going soccer camps; we are school shopping and uniform shopping; we are sleeping late and having FUN!
I’m making lunch box love notes for parents to put in kids school lunch boxes.
Looking forward to soaking up some sun and hanging out with some girlfriends this weekend!
I love mystery boxes. This week I’m on vaca from work so I’ll be making my bf baby shower invitations and relaxing around the house..much needed rest
Well I’ll be working full tilt through August! Tourist season here in Alaska until the end of September! I’d love to win the mystery box… it would make this busy lady SMILE!!
Lots to do the remainder of this month, but the two greatest tasks include helping my niece and hubby move into their own place, and reducing the amount of scrap in my craft room. Trying to make all paper projects using primarily my scraps so that I can make room for more new!
August is all about getting back to routine after the Summer break. Helping kids settle in the new school and class. TFS this box, I love mystery.
School starts here today, so I am doing first day of school cards.
I’m a teacher, so August is a bittersweet month for me because it’s back to school in September! In August, I always attend our county fair. I’ve loved the fair since I was a kid! August is also a time to catch up on my summer to do list, because nothing got done in July! The last days are spent in my classroom for a few hours on a few days getting it ready for the kiddos. I miss July! LOL! Thanks for the chance to win!
Let’s see the rest of the month looks like this… Help Mom (recovering from a stroke), Take card of DD (getting her wisdom teeth out tomorrow), and then celebrate my birthday. : ) Yay!! I’ll never be too old to stop enjoying my birthday!
The rest of this month is JAM PACKED! Haha! I’ll be getting the boys ready to head off to school and working hard on finding employment! Thanks for the chance to win some goodies!
Picking all of the blackberries growing all over my property!! I have so many, I dream of them at night!! They sure do make some great cobblers!!
I’ll be taking the rest of the month off before I start a new job! Thanks for the chance to win.
I plan on getting the basement cleaned up and organized in these last dog days of August.
Thanks for a chance to win.
I’m spending the rest of this month trying to get ready for a rummage sale on Aug 31-Sept 1. It’s gonna be close as to whether or not I get everything done I want to!
I will be spending the rest of August patiently waiting for FOOTBALL!!
I am going to craft the month away!
Getting ready for school to start!
ooooh, i love surprises! and who wouldn’t want to receive a pretty box like this at their doorstep?!
August is a BUSY month – hubbin is getting ready for back to school, going camping and gearing up for a show this weekend (i’ve taken a hiatus, but we’re in a band together and the CD release party is this saturday!). i, on the other hand, have been enjoying the extra time while he’s been in his classroom and rehearsing, and i KNOW i’m going to make some cards for Moxie Fab challenges while he’s camping, so it’s a CRAFTY month for me!
I have been promising my son for nearly 3 years to take him to Fenway for a Red Sox game. Well, this Saturday, watch out Boston! For my son’s 13th birthday, I am taking him and two of his close friends on an overnight and to the game.
I will be taking L-O-T-S of photos and will be coming home to scrapbook and save those memories — so many will be made and I am prepping my tummy for quite the barrel of laughs that are ahead of me for a 4 hour road trip with 3 13yr olds
I’ll be trying to catch up on my yard work to get ahead of fall clean-up. Lots of weeding, etc. Time to stop crafting and start digging. LOL
totally in the groove to edit, print, and then scrapbook all our summer photos as soon as it starts to cool off for some fun creative therapy!
Am hoping to get an album started and finished of my son’s trip to Europe. Haven’t done an album in a while, so planning a few nights away from home to get it done!
Making lots of wedding projects for friends’ wedding gifts. What can I say, summer is a wedding season!!!
