When I was a little lass, as soon as I got my supply list for the next school year, I’d bug my mom until we could go get everything it entailed. I just loved getting new markers, crayons, pencils, notebooks, and pencil cases. I’d pull everything out of its packaging and organize and reorganize it several times before school started. I guess I loved school!
Well, it’s about that time. Summer is winding down. August means the start of another school year to most—which is a chance to start fresh! Teachers get to meet new students, students get to make new friends, and even though summer is a blast, parents get to get back to accomplishing things!
There are so many cute school-themed crafting products out there, and some really cute projects too. Let’s take a look at some that Paper Crafts has published!
In the July/August 2012 issue of Paper Crafts, you’ll find this cute Just Joking Card Set by Heather Campbell on page 50. It’s perfect to write a little note in and stick in your little Einstein’s lunch box. You can find the jokes that Heather used on our website by clicking here.
In 365 Cards, you’ll find this Golden Rule Days card by Vivian Masket on page 107. With apples and notebook-style paper, it’s a great back-to-school card. This simple design could also be recreated for all kinds of occasions!
Lastly, back in the July/August issue, you’ll also find this Fortunate Take-Out Box by Katie Gehring on page 56. What a sweet little gift! I myself am fond of the typical apple motif for back-to-school, but I also love when I see something unexpected and clever. Look how cute that project is!
Are you inspired to create back-to-school projects? Would you like some back-to-school crafting goodies? One lucky commenter will win the Edumacation Stack from DCWV as well as the Oxford collection from BasicGrey and the 6 x 6 Off to School Paper Pad by Fancy Pants Designs!
All comments must be received by Wednesday, August 15th at 5 pm MDT.
Thanks for checking in!
