Operation Write Home is an organization whose mission is to support our nation’s armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on as well as “AnyHero” cards of gratitude to encourage them. So if you love our service members and want to support them with your specific skill set, this is a great opportunity for card makers! Did you know that over 1,716,000 cards have been deployed since 2007, supporting and bringing cheer to troops? You can be a part of it too!

This is a very cool organization. I’m going to a crop next weekend where the hostess asked us to each bring an OWH card to donate. I thought that was very neat!
I tell my husband that is why i’m making cards…He’s happier to support my addiction for that reason:)
so glad there are organizaions out there that make it so EASY to get the cards to the troop!
