As Susan told you last Friday, it’s Christmas all year long here in the Paper Crafts office because of the time it takes to put together Holiday Cards & More for you each year. And now that we’re approaching “real time” Christmas instead of just “magazine time” Christmas, we’d love for you to join our festive fun and make a card to kick off the holiday paper crafting season yourself.
This year we’re bringing you inspiration from around the world, too, as 15 countries and four continents are represented among the projects we included in this issue. I just love how we’ve become so connected to far-flung places via our online community! Check out the international flavor you’ll find in the pages of Holiday Cards & More, Vol. 7:

Luckily, the language of creativity is universal so you can find inspiration in a project from Slovenia as easily as one from Sweden:

Although these three tags by Tina Basa (Slovenia) are a set, each one looks adorable on its own as well.

Doesn't this Very Merry Christmas Tree card by Karin Akesdotter (Sweden) take you right to a snowy meadow in the heart of the Swedish countryside?
What else could bring you right to the heart of Christmas than a line from a familiar carol or a well-known Bible verse?

Since she lives on the island nation of Bermuda, the inspiration behind this Three Ships card by Jennifer Wills is not just a beloved Christmas carol but also how Christmas must feel when living in the tropics.

The simplicity of the verse along with the woodgrain and leaves in this For Unto You card by Angeline Yong Jeet Leen (Australia) inspires us to think back to that very first Christmas.
But the laughter and joy of the season are what we love the most, and – seriously – could there be anything that makes you giggle more than a snaggle-toothed monster wearing a Santa hat?

This adorable Merry Monster tag by Marie Forberg (Norway) has two other friends, so check out p. 96 when you get your copy of this issue.
Yes, the language of creativity is universal and the world isn’t that big after all, now is it? Oh, and speaking of world and card making and inspiration, don’t forget about the World Card Making Day contest now that you’re filling your head with all these creative thoughts. We love to see what you make and send our way!

Comment on today's post for a chance to win a copy!
And if you think I’m signing off without a giveaway during this very special week then I must not have been humming my Christmas carols loud enough for you to hear because I’m feeling exceptionally festive. Let me know in the comments what country you’d like to visit (and where you live, if it’s outside the U.S.), and I’ll pick five random winners who will receive a copy of Holiday Cards & More Vol. 7. Be sure to comment by Thursday, September 20th at 5pm MDT. And check out the Moxie Fab World for more Holiday Cards & More fun!
Wishing you worlds of creativity,

I’d love to visit Italy – as it is where lots of my relatives that I haven’t met yet live. I tried to do this little blog hop and I left messages on the blogs that were participating. Unfortunately, not all of them were. In fact, a lot of them were not participating.
