I know it’s still a month away, but Halloween is easily one of my favorite holidays! (In the fun-to-decorate-but-not-too-scary kind of way.) Who doesn’t love free candy? And little kids in costume? So cute!
Lucky for me, I can deck out my treats this year with some of the ideas from our September/October 2012 issue.
Like this little treat box, I have adult friends who would be just as excited as some of the kids to receive this.

Although, I’m sure the kids are more excited about the treat inside and less about the gorgeous outside, but that’s okay.
Or, I can host my own Halloween bash and have themed beverages!

We all know how much I love chandeliers, so here’s a great idea to incorporate them in a spooky way:

I LOVE that bird! Very Edgar Allan Poe.
It’s going to be a very fun and paper-crafted Halloween at my house! I better get started! Do you do anything special for Halloween? Do you love the fun decorations as much as I do?
Have a wonderful day!

I put out a few items for Halloween but I tend to decorate more for autumn. We do enjoy the little trick-or-treaters who ring our doorbell.
I love to decorate for Halloween, it’s so fun & my son loves it too. He’s likes the trick or treating too.
I love Halloween – its so fun for everyone. I love the Poe treat bag!
Used to enjoy Halloween when kids in the neighborhood were younger but now it seems to be such a hassle. Plan for it but no one shows (always buy something we like but could save the $ instead). Now I’m sounding like a Scrooge, but I’m really not. These are all great Halloween projects though!
The spooky window gift bag is just fabulous!
This are all so great, I just love Halloween!!
That chandelier project is awesome!!! Love fall, don’t do too much for halloween, but used to when my son was small. I like the cute decos, I hate anything scary!!!! (I used to roast pumpkin seeds every year, I think I may grab a pumpkin and make some this year – it has been a long time)!!!!!
Love Halloween that treat bag is amazing and I do make some treat bags for my good friends kids and some Halloween decorations when I have the time
I love making Halloween decorations. It’s so much fun and there are so many new papers and embeli out there to get crazy with.
Most of my neighbors turn off their porch lights on Halloween, so I don’t get the number of trick or treaters like used to. I put out ceramic pumpkins with candles in them and a few other decorations, but don’t have an abundance of them. I have volunteered at a local care facility the last few years to help with the residents’ party. They love inviting children to come by and really stock up on the goodies for them. When I was scrolling through the post and saw the chandelier card, my immediate thought was “Edgar Allan Poe.” Be assured you hit the mark. All of the projects are great.
‘Fabulous combo of window, chandelier and raven!
