I don’t know about the rest of you, but this summer has been a pretty warm one here in Utah. So even though spring/summer is my favorite time of year, I’m kind of ready for fall, and so when the first day of fall came around last Saturday, I wasn’t as distraught as usual. And good thing because the past few days have certainly had that autumn feel.
It’s such a beautiful time of year when the leaves are changing. Take for instance, this photo I took as my friend and I drove through the mountains last Saturday!
I know I'm no photographer, but the mountains in Utah are to die for.
So I thought I’d show you a few inspiring fall projects to really get you in the mood.

Next we have Chan’s thankful tag from the September/October 2012 issue. Yes, it’s just the beginning of fall, but before you know it, it’ll be Thanksgiving—a time to come together with family and remember all that we should be grateful for.

Lastly, I just had to show this Autumn Blessings card that was also in our latest September/October issue in the stamping with dies feature. Look at the fun way Betsy die-cut her patterned paper, popped it up, and stamped in the negative space! Simply beautiful.

This year has been a difficult year for my husband’s sister due to cancer but it has also been such a wonderful time to recall the memories and share the precious time we have left together. I am so thankful for this time and cherish each day we have left.
